I'm not surre I agree #8, how's labeling a movement out of hat a hate movement different that what feminism is trying to do to the MRA movement?

I fail to see how rewriting them wholesale makes it better Although, considering the original stories were pretty gruesome, I can accept that given the originals still being available

You know, I can deal with a lot without getting angry, I can handle double standards, and internal hypocrisy, and No True Scotsman's paradoxes, and flat condemnation of opposition as hate speech. I can deal proposing badly written and stupid laws. I can deal with rage. I can deal with ad hominem. I can deal with guilt-tripping. I can deal with almost anything. But I cannot deal with Censorship And if you try to take away my books, it doesn't matter if I agree with the books, or their authors, or…

No, I don't whine about the 17th, I whine about presidential candidates ignoring the first 16 as well. Seriously, what's closer to 95 +- 7, 72 or 100?

The truth is that racism is a far bigger problem than sexism, but has no bearing on the 77% statistic, which is what this thread is about, and while both the gender gap and race gap in pays exist, they are far smaller than most people believe them to be.

That study compares median income, without accounting for differences such as overtime, and is exactly the kind of stuff shady8x was drawing attention to, don't compare apples to oranges And Race is an entirely different debate, don't bring that here, this isn't r/whitemensrights

Yeah, but the actual difference in pay fluctuates from field to field, is not 77 cents on the dollar, and is almost always small enough to be considered a statistical accident.

Really, the system is unfair because your choices dictate your pay? Convergent behavior does not always mean discrimination

Well, if we became too equal, I suppose I could do a decent job as handicapper general, at least as good as anyone else. But you know that that's not just limited to gender, right? Smart people have to wear distracting speakers in their ears, people with good eyes have to wear trippy glasses, pretty people: masks, strong people:weights, fast people: restraints, and everyone is equal at everything always, on penalty of death or handicap

Menrights would talk about his statement that women can't commit rape, that apparently only women are raped, and generally be upset about how he says there aren't many tips for men to avoid commiting rape when there aren't tips to avoid homicide or other felonies Because for every crime, there are tips on how to avoid them, how to avoid identity theft, getting mugged, getting shot in a gang war, being killed in a hostage crisis, or being hit in the head by a kitten someone kicked at you, but not…
