Don’t listen and just enjoy your time with your son. It completely sucks and not fair but be the man you want your son to be. Focus on being his hero not being her co parent. You’re doing good man and your son will notice it. He just going through a rough time and he need his strong dad. I honestly believe divorce is hardest on the kids.

I enjoy my marriage but hated my divorce. I love my sons that were born and there isn’t enough pain in world to have me trade them in for. If you find someone you want take the leap with I say just take it slow. Let you both see each other in each season of your lives. If you really love and commit to each it be best for both you. Do not let failures of others stop you from what you want. I have never regretted marrying my ex wife I regret we didn’t do the things to recommit to each other. We bo…

Forget government friendship contracts…. Woman are incentivize to leave marriages they are slightly unhappy. I’m just glad i got my sons majority custody and I didn’t have endure the bloodbath others have in this group. My ex was such a selfish person couldn’t believe the court wouldn’t give custody after she abandoned them for 6 months pursue her happiness. She wanted her freedom and got a new idiot to marry her just 3 days ago. I on the other end will not remarry until no divorce fault is ille…

My ex-wife ran off with the kids to Kansas and I am from Florida too. Florida is a 50-50 state. Do not let her run you over get a lawyer and get a sharing agreement. Don’t settle for less than 50-50. Don’t let any mediator push you around for less than that hold your ground and you’ll get 50-50. I actually won majority timeshare for my sons they live with me during the school year. It’s possible the court treat fathers like parents now you’re gonna be OK just fight.

She trying again to connect to them, she was disconnected for a while. I believe that every chance she gets though she tries to turn them against me or steal them for me. I imagine this won’t improve until she is pregnant with her new fiancé kids. She is very short sighted, carefree and live in moment type. So even when she tries a little scheme she easy to take apart. She accused me of everything when we’re in process other than physical abuse. But everyone of her accusations I was able to get …

I could’ve gotten child support my attorney told me, but I elected against so she shouldn’t get any of my 401k or alimony. The divorce took 3 years and over 40,000 in fees. But I have my 2 sons with no child support, no alimony and the vast majority of my finances intact. Plus it just felt dirty to ask for child support when I make about 40k a year more then her.

Honestly I think my ex just didn’t want to responsibility. I offer 50/50 knowing I have paid child support. But she wouldn’t come back to the state. So she wasn’t left with much of choice to do limit time sharing plan. I have them all school year.

My divorce took 30 months and 35,000. 27000 to my lawyer and 8,000 to my wife but I won custody of my sons so worth every penny!

I honestly don’t remember, toke it off and I didn’t do anything dramatic with that I can remember. Maybe that’s symbol for how I feel about her now. She use to be here and now she is gone

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
