I hope more women find FDS and stop undervaluing themselves with men. I'm afraid you're a radical minority in your thinking, around modern women at least. Also, it's not even about paying or not, it's about you and people in FDS trying to make the men pay simply because of trying to manipulate them by using creepy conditioning and car salesman methods, like the actual FDS sub claims to want to do. I wouldn't have any problem with the lot of you if you just stated outright to others in real life …

My boyfriend and all of my exes easily paid for dates and expenses. Good for you. I always offered and they said no. Very disingenuous when you're also follow the FDS bible of not dating a man who won't pay for you. I would gift them and treat them on different occasions because I am not stingy and I enjoy treating my partner. That does not make you a good person, that is the very very bare minimum when you are in a commited relationship. The fact that you're already supposing the man owes you a…

Yes, and you haven't made a single post in your entire posting history even supporting a man or men in general. And you just keep gaslighting almost every single post you do by claiming you know how the person you're argueing with ACTUALLY feels, or what they ACTUALLY think, even when they're telling you the opposite. There is no way to discuss at all when you just assume whatever the hell you want from what the other person posts and ignore what they've actually written.

It's staggering to see how you talk about personal attacks when you are gaslighting the people you argue with constantly in here. Also, maybe you're not aware, but woe is me posting is also not allowed on this sub, so if you want to follow the rules, maybe turn down the manipulative victimism a bit.

Uh, not really, splitting the bills has shit all to do with not having sex. How about: Woman 3: splits the bill, but won't have sex until later in the relationship. The only reason not to split the bill is if the woman wants to golddig, or I suppose if the woman is just human scum and is trying to use some sort of fucked up pavlovian conditioning like FDS recommends to do. Either way, instant red flag.

Most men pay for dates Where exactly? Working class barely even date anymore. Maybe rich men pay, but middle class I don't know anyone that doesn't split bills.

What the hell are you even going on about?? "BEARING MEN CHILDREN" You're not bearing anyone anything. If you have a child, it's because you wanted to have a child, nobody forced you. You have every right in the world to do whatever the heck you want. How about this: Taking responsability for your own actions and decisions. Sounds wild, I know. Men don't owe you anything at all just because you "can" get pregnant.

I legitimately don't understand. Do you want a tradcon relationship with a tradcon man or not? Otherwise I don't see any reason for why you would you want the man to pay for you, other than to golddig. Like honestly, I would understand if women weren't supposed to work or something like that, but if a woman is expecting the man to pay the one thing I'm going to think immediately is that she's a redflag, because she either can't take care of herself or is trying to use the man as a wallet.

??? Being willing to pay is only a testament to being willing to pay. Somebody may very well be willing to pay for you just to fuck you if they have the money, even if they absolutely don't value you as a person at all. I don't exactly see how you're filtering for anything good here. The "being willing to pay" has pretty much nothing at all to do with someone being committed to you. That's why men immediately see women that expect this as golddiggers, unless it's an expected tradcon relationship…

What's going to actually happen is that the real life man will see that you want him to pay the bill and he will immediately think you're a golddigger and be very much glad and be on his way. Unless, he really wants to fuck you, and has the money. I can see finance-type guys blowing thousands or dozens of thousands on a pretty woman to get to fuck her, since he has way more in the bank anyways. Otherwise, I don't see why any man would think a woman that wants him to pay is relationship material …

I honestly don't think anyone does that. I have heard of people doing "pretend rape", I have never heard of people fantasizing about "pretend rape". The entire point of "pretend rape" is to get off to the fantasy of real rape. If you're already fantasizing I don't see people having fantasies about "pretend rape", when "pretend rape" is already about fantasizing about real rape. Rather they just fantasize real rape. Jesus what am I writing.

Eh, I think your own definition is a bit messy. By it, the only ones that are not free are the people that live paycheck to paycheck. I know people that come from poor families, went to college and became software engineers and literally quit their own jobs by themselves several times just to get a higher salary in different companies. The only ones that live paycheck to paycheck are working class, idiots, or people with very special circumstances.

Nope. You're either fantasizing about having consensual sex or you're fantasizing about having non-consensual sex. It is one of the two. And if it is the second it is a rape fantasy as non-consensual sex is rape. If you're fantasizing about having "pretend rape" with someone then it is consensual sex.

Fantasizing about getting raped is a rape fantasy... Just because you want a particular guy to rape you doesn't mean you're not getting off to rape.

There are some, but the thing is if she is actually diligent she usually ends up getting out of poverty by herself, which means the ones that are on their 20somethings working dead end jobs well into their 30s it is usually because they are the opposite of virtuous and diligent. Same for men though.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Class_stratification Even the general marxian view is that after class stratification begins, society keeps dividing into further strata of classes with different points of view and cultural divides, until the pooling of the wealth becomes so high at the top that there end up being only 2 classes, rich and poor, bourgeoisie and proletariat. At least that's my very surface understanding of it. So upper-middle class wouldn't be wrong.

Has little to do with being taught or not. If you try to show your emotions by crying or asking for support or anything like that as a man, you will very much learn not to do it by highschool, or you will get stomped by pretty much everyone until you learn.

I said a man who has the emotional vulnerability of a woman. An average woman I suppose. Also by arguments I'm talking about stuff like being told they need to walk their own dog when the only reason they're not doing so is because of laziness. either way it doesn't matter since it's anecdotal, but i'm sure a majority of people has dealt with girls that cry during any argument to the point they can't really be argued with. So tell me: Would you be with a man that is actually emotionally vulnerab…

What I'm trying to say is that the way I've been able to perceive it, for a lot of women it doesn't "take" something for them to cry, on the contrary they're conditioned to cry and show their emotions to others because the expectation is usually that they will receive good feels and sympathy. Which is the exact opposite of how it is for men. Aside from that I guess we do agree.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/20 05:07 PM

The ones I know, rarely. And that's fine, but then please don't say it's okay for a man to be emotionally vulnerable when in the next post you're implying that no, you wouldn't be attracted to a man that was as emotionally vulnerable as a woman. AFAIK what you're saying is: "I am okay with my man crying and showing vulnerability only to ME, as a very rare occasion after years of him bottling up his emotions, but I would definitely not be okay with him being emotionally vulnerable as a norm."
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/20 04:58 PM

It's not about being more likely to be comforted. It's that there is no baggage associated with crying for women. For men, not only you will likely not be comforted or have people feel sympathy for you, but you will be seen as weak, emasculated and also have women stop considering you relationship material.(which is in and of itself also emasculating). I'm not sure it is fully possible for women to understand what being emasculated is, for most women it doesn't even register in their heads that …

What exactly "takes you" to show vulnerability as a woman? I would understand it as a man but... I mean, I think anybody can tell if you start crying as a woman everyone is more likely to try and comfort you and make you feel better and there are pretty much no adverse reaction to expect, other than if you cry in front of someone that HATES you. Rather than it "taking" anything out of you, i'd be inclined to say a lot of woman are used to crying because they've been conditioned by the actions of…

Men learn to respond with anger because responding with sadness makes you seem weak and turns you both into a target and marked as undesirable.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/20 04:34 PM

You two are saying that, but I'm not sure you would've been attracted to those men if they had the same kind of emotional vulnerability that women do. If someone cries once or twice after years of not crying you might interpret it as a special moment, outside of the norm. I know girls that break into crying literally in every other argument they have with anyone.

This. As long as you're not very fucking ugly you should be able at some point to charm a woman and her fucking you just because she wants to fuck you. With marriage and commitment also no, as there are also situations where the woman with low self esteem will do anything and pay anything to stay with the man. I wouldn't say it happens just as often however, this is only relatively common I'd say in very low income ghetto-like communities.

I'm not trying trying to convince you because I'm not in that side of the fence in the first place. I'm just telling you it's wishful thinking to think that you're going to leave any real lasting impact in society, and it's even more wishful thinking to expect your children or your children's children(if they have them) will also make the same choices and pick the same paths in life as you, which it really is. The only thing you can truly control in this life is yourself and your own actions. ie…

There barely exist a middle class in shithole countries. There are rich people with connections and then poor people. The middle class is extremely small or actually non-existent in most shithole countries, as even doctors and the like are poorly educated and paid misery wages or having their roles taken by NGO's. Guinea for example. Also if things keep up like this I am genuinely expecting a period of massive violence in the US or even a civil war in the next few recessions with the ridiculous …

I think you really overestimate the impact you're going to have in the world. The children you're going to have could very easily end up in the same road as the people you're chastising for their choices right now, meaning claiming "the future" belongs to you or "those who show up" is a bit of a wishful thinking. You probably have more of a chance of affecting society meaningfully if you devote all your time and power to doing so and don't waste time having children than if you have them, not th…

You mean it is socially expected of men to go drink with their bosses and if they don't it is seen as disrespect and could cost them their job, while women are usually let off to do whatever they want and it's ok whether they want to join or not.

What you don't realize though, is that there is a very real disparity of power between the sexes when it comes to society. As a man nobody will usually help or even look at you 90% of the time, while women are encouraged and protected and coddled all the time, not just by the government and the law, but also by EVERYONE, men AND women. This way, men are either taught or end up learning to just suck it the fuck up, and that you NEED to be ready to fight back with force if necessary, and if you're…

Puritan america has ALWAYS been very different to the attitudes in western europe for example. During the times of the sexual revolution, in for example spain after the franco dictatorship, you could find topless women in every other magazine. That would have been unthinkable in 1975 puritan america afaik.

Why does it read from your post history that you're actually a FDS denizen and just use this account to post here then? Well, just from a look I had, let me tell you, that thing about the men always being supposed to pay for dates that is apparently like bible-speak in that sub? Of all the men the men I know in my family that are high earners, none of them would date a woman that refused to split the bill 50/50, given, all of them only have dated or married women around their own income level that I know of but still, these are men that do buy and pay for really expensive shit for the women that they date, but wh…

In fact if you said that while being in a relationship it would probably be a deal breaker for the vast vast majority of women.

It isn't, because it is the mother that decides if she's actually going to carry that child to term or not. If men had anything to say about if a child is carried to term I would agree with you, but because that would inflict upon female body integrity and women don't want this(rightfully so), I think the father should just be able to opt out of being considered the caretaker of the child if the mother chooses to go through with the pregnancy. It's the fairest way of handling it.
