You are only 20. Slow down. Take care of yourself and grow first.

Marriage is a long term commitment, you have your whole lives ahead of each other. Usually people talk about why/what they want from marriage...meaning spending the rest of your lives together. Don't get caught up in a proposal, ring and grand ceremony/party. Those are not the reasons for the committment, but are fun to celebrate and enjoy. It's never a good idea to rush any relationship...especially romantic ones. Take your time. Slow down. In my 30 years of experience, it takes a good 3-5 yrs …

Fleece blankets....2 pieces of fabric the same size, cut the sides and tie 2 pieces together all around. Paint!!! It's so easy, fun and endless. You can collect things along the way to glue on, I love mixed media...throw it on there! Get some old furniture and paint it! Get old clothes /new/thrift and cut em up/bleach/tie dye! Make collages and frame them!

My partner is a pharmacist, and everytime I'm sick, he makes sure to stock up on all medications, lays them out and gives me clinical advise. (Sometimes in his white coat...so sexy). Followed up by extra TLC. He's so goofy...he has many theme songs for me, us and our cats that he sings and dances to. He absolutely adores grooming our cats and watching him do that just tickles my everything.

It's not even about the legal marriage here....it's been 2 months... Marriage certificates don't protect anyone, it should not be a safety blanket or some trophy you rush towards.

You've known this person 2 months and are already considering giving up your independence?

Never date a person who is in the middle of, or freshly divorced / just left a long term relationship.

There's nothing wrong with waiting, it's probably the smarter choice in the long run. Why rush?

Yall both need to treat each other every now and then, what's wrong with that? You even said no its cool...I got it.... you can't get mad here.... wouldn't you feel special if he got a bonus and bought the entire meal? If yall can't afford that...or dont want to pick up tabs solo... stick to clear 50/50 boundaries for all dates then. Also....dates don't have to be outside of the house or cost alot... you can have them at home.... He's totally not taking advantage of you...learn to put energy tow…

That his issue not yours. And your anxiety issues are yours. If you know your trigger why would you put yourself in that situation...????? He needs to fix this to be a good partner, you cannot. You're going to make yourself miserable trying to be his care taker. Alcoholism is no joke.

Ok so.... in summary... you need to open your eyes and learn to love yourself more than anyone else and set boundaries or leave. This man is abusive and disgusting. What would you tell a friend? He has to help himself just like you do. I'd suggest to re read your post and do some introspection. I imagine this isn't the only time he's a prick.

Live by yourselves. Based on your edit...you've had several experiences to get to know each other....honey it takes a minimum of 1-3 yrs to really get to know someone.....and then after 3+ you're still learning. The majority has spoken and you will not take the advice until you learn the lesson first hand.

You are both so young and barely know each other.... regardless...I suggest to wait. Give the relationship time to grow. There is nothing but time. Rushing rarely works out. But if you insist... Keep separate bank accounts and always save. (After years of dating, get a shared account for a common goal) Do not join a lease that you cannot manage alone, or if you don't have an immediate back up plan (to parents, have savings to get your own, etc..) Split furniture costs/establish who gets what in …

Hmmm...id be suspicious and ask him: why he didn't tell me earlier...did they just finish plans/have the idea?...are there any other girlfriends that could go and expand the trip? (If u wana do something just ask!...if he says no...private time with friends...ok, bummer, but go enjoy yourself...until yall go next) I wouldnt worry yourself about a boys trip....those are much needed. (Just like girl trips) If hes going to cheat, hes going to regardless on where he is.... this is where trust is hug…

If you want someone to provide for you and pay your way you have to make that clear from the get go...he has to want that too. I'd love for someone to pay my way in theory...but not in real life...I gotta have my own...and lord knows I don't wana work...why would I let someone else feel the same and have to stress about paying for my way thru this world?

Don't think too much on social media, it's there, people look but as long as he isn't commenting/messaging other people it's harmless. Also, it's not good to bring past relation insecurities into your new ones...if you are... you should probably be taking time alone to sort that out... you gotta work on that, not anyone else.

I stopped posting pictures of partners on social media after I learned from previous partners that it was silly, most people who post alot are pretending or generally just use FB for family and close friends, and it sucks if you do break up. Don't take social media too seriously.

Why would you even think of marrying him? You're only 30, life is just starting.

Some 30yr old advice... you are still so young....if I could do it again I wouldn't date for a long term until about 25, you still have so much growing to do.

It's better than paying full rental price if you're on your own....take track of how much you contribute and if you get married/pass a time threshold you set....have him add you to the deed/mortgage and save those recipients for proof. If the situation was reversed and you bought the house...what would you charge?

You sound immature, controlling and invasive....and he is already showing signs of lying instead of standing up for what he wants...sounds like Incompatability off the bat. You just got together and you are already snooping and trying to control who he is friends with. There are people who can be platonic friends after a more involved relationship...it's all about open communication and maturity. If you show these signs of insecurity he probably felt like he couldn't tell you the truth...which D…

Most men are going to look at other women online, this is 2022, it's easily available. Shoot I look at men and women too, as a woman! You're probably feeling very emotional post baby. Just let him know you need some extra TLC right now. But I don't think it's cool to put him down saying you look better than him, sounds ick.

You're helping him apply for jobs and paying for his child support? I'd ask yourself why you're in this relationship.

If you're still processing issues from a past relationship...the best thing to do is to be alone until you are healing/healed. Focus on self care, mindfulness and growing from your traumas. If you decide to be in a relationship then you need to handle these moments alone, no calls, texts etc...he will still be there for you...but he cannot save or change you...nobody can except you..

I think the reality check here is its been a few weeks and you're saying you love someone but really you mean the idea of having said person's money. Yall are both red flags. If you move forward make sure you can support yourself after the divorce/split. Hopefully he's smart enough to have a prenup himself so he doesn't end up supporting another ex wife.

Sounds like something required in the old days for families to survive, this is 2022 and most of us are in the states. Women are more independent and able to provide. Why would anyone want to be in a relationship to be someone's sole provider during these times? I understand the exception while raising a new baby...but personally would not use men as an ATM machine to prove his value. How do you think gay relations should work?

I was like that too and am now 30 and nervous because I do want a baby, but I don't. Don't rush into this decision.
