No. Not really. If there was a man out there I'd like it'd be like taking a trip back to Tudor era England's noble houses. Because there are also many other animals that are monogamous and mate for life. So it's really not that irrational. I'm pretty sure most humans are naturally monogamous when looking for a life partner. Most poly relationships either create a metric fuckton of drama or just don't work out. Science recently published a study that says females become possessive of their partners when around other females during menstruation.
