I love this analogy. Why do you think people who come across expressions of redpill ideology spend their attention on them?

You bring up a lot of really good points, especially about the savior complex that gurus capitalize on. I’m a coach working in a specific methodology that supports people in figuring out what they want rather than me telling them what to do. I want to work with people who have already decided to leave but are filling in the blanks of what they want to do now and build their own discernment skills to decide what that means. I’d love to hear more of your thoughts on this topic because I want my wo…

Edit to add that if you are friends with people who follow redpill content then it’s likely that you’ll also be fed it. If you don’t want to unfriend them then you’ll have to do more heavy lifting for step 1. Make sure you’re actively liking and engaging with the content you want and actively reporting/hiding content you don’t want so that you retrain it properly

Ooh! I know! I come from a tech background and unfortunately the algorithm is pretty easy to hack. Change who social media THINKS you are so they categorize you differently and start showing you different ads. Do this by following other types of accounts. For example, I am a big believer in antiracism so I started following black women antiracist activists. Within a day, I started seeing videos/posts of other accounts that they follow and I just started following those. Now my algorithm is flood…

I’d love to discuss the topic in more depth. PM me if you’d like to have a convo about it

I’m confused on the problem you’re identifying here — are you looking for more people to talk about approaching strangers or are you looking for guidance on approaching strangers?

What does “cold approach” mean to you now that you’re exredpill? What things can you do/think/say that feel aligned with your values now? What things does redpill advocate you do/think/say that you’re leaving behind? Genuine questions I’d love to hear your answers

Why is this an important question for you to answer? What will the answer give you?

100% agree. The issues bringing people to red pill are more about universal needs like connection and belonging but red pill capitalizes on that to make money off of anger. When people leave red pill they are reclaiming their own selves but then the task becomes…who am I? What do I truly believe? What do I want and need? How am I going to go about getting that? These are much deeper and more meaningful questions and ultimately will lead to more peace once people identify their core values and st…

All I can say is that the relationships I’ve had that have deconstructed gender roles have been the most freeing, playful, excited, and fun relationships in my life. Being in a relationship without gender constructs is magic.

One way to think about this is that red pill is a strategy to address an underlying need you have. If you’re a man, you’ve been taught some ways on how to address your underlying needs for connection, relationship, acceptance, belonging, etc. Some feelings that indicate these needs are not met might be shame, fear, sadness, confusion. Men are often socialized to be disconnected from these feelings and needs so the red pill community offers a packaged solution that feeds on the anger and disconne…

The red pill community gave you a way of thinking, a sense of purpose and meaning, and a community of like minded people. This is a natural thing that basically everyone looks for which is why the red pill dogma attracts so many people. You’ve taken the first steps to deprogram yourself and that is huge! The next step is to figure out who you actually are, what you actually want, and what will actually make you happy. This is not unlike the experience of ex-religious people or ex-cult people. Yo…

Hey OP, this is a huge realization you’re making in your life that most people don’t ever get to. Decoupling your identity as a man from approval of women is a continuous process that if you stay committed to can bring you feelings of peace and freedom. You’ll feel better, you’ll discover who you truly are outside of external validation, you’ll find out what you like to do and who you want to be. Stick with this self-inquiry. It will get you your life back. The specifics of this process are your…
