I mean… this just showed up in my recommended (so Idk just wanted to share my opinion), but there’s a theory that the first humans all had XX chromosomes (excluding any disorders). The theory states that the Y chromosome was once larger, but is now shrinking and men will go back to having two X chromosomes. I love my unborn children so much that I could not bear to bring them into this cruel world. That… honestly, that’s the most loving and tragic sentence I’ve ever read. Yeah, only situation I can imagine understanding if someone ran back to her ex would be if she had a history of abuse (and we all know we’re conditioned to prefer what we’re used to instead of what is safe). It still wouldn’t be right, but I can’t imagine how that person must feel recovering from that trauma.
