Yeah I don’t get why people see anything else when a woman says I’m a 10z

The problem is other gen Z people don’t do this stuff. If I do it I find myself the one young dude in a group of old people.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 11:34 AM

These studies can’t be flawed because it’s the entire population of ok Cupid.

Old men give the ick because they are icky, not for power imbalance reasons. Could you see a woman being generally attracted to a man they perceive as weaker and not worthy of respect?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/23 10:16 AM
1

In any case the man will be much much stronger than a woman. And old man’s strength probably is more about an old man knowing better technique. Also athletes are usually fairly young.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/23 07:11 AM

Isn’t an old man weaker than a young man? Your other point is also not specific to age.

I don’t think it’s literally 80-20c, it’s an inequality in number of matches and getting a match doesn’t mean much because a everyone gets some number of bot matches. For the last it’s just an opportunity to date, not a done deal. The people with more offers get more tries and have an easier time dating. We saw that relative attractiveness was a major factor in the decision to say yes. attrgap scores indicate how much more attractive the partners were relative to the participants. As you can see…

Isn’t it just obvious from a biological standpoint that part of it has to be men having to meet higher standards to have children given women bear the risk of childbearing.

Why do people pretend this never happens? In fact it’s the default because most hookups are just this.

Yeah and also something huge like 25% of men admit to cheating…not exactly that uncommon

I’d wager most low libido cases are low attraction cases, especially if the women still gets off but by herself.

If you were truly good looking you’d be able to get a girl within a week of using a dating app. I know some introverted awkward good looking dudes who did this. These dudes also reject advances from girls irl regularly.

You call yourself a mathematician right? In 2007, a study by the University of Central Lancashire concluded that the Napoleon complex (described in terms of the theory that shorter men are more aggressive to dominate those who are taller than they are) is a myth. They were definitely low body fat if they helped around in the farm.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/23 05:43 PM

You’re making a 100 assumptions for the data. I don’t know what survey you’re talking about but it probably only asks about heterosexual partners. Anyways for every body on the male side there has to be exactly 1 body on the female side assuming heterosexual sex. It’s just basic math and if you don’t get why they have to be equal this discussion is pointless.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/23 03:28 PM
1

These studies probably don’t, they’re just random surveys. Anyways if straight men and straight women are having sex with each other, the average should be exactly the same. It takes 2 to have sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/23 05:33 PM

You’re just making a ton of assumptions about a single statistic. The cause of most divorces is financial. Why is it surprising that women divorce men if they are laid off long term.

Not really, a woman might be satisfied after finding a match while a guy might keep on swiping. What do you think situationships have magically popped up from and why 60% of men are single while only 40% of women are. None of this gender ratio stuff matters if most relationships are formed after meeting online (which is the case, everything but apps and bars/restaurants are down by a lot, bars and restaurants are probably also just online daters who don’t think of themselves as such)

Doesn’t your argument sort of falter when you consider current levels of gender pay parity was roughly achieved in 1997 when it was ~80% Vs 82% now. I think we just have gotten increasingly anti social because of social media. People struggle to make friends as well.

https://www.eviemagazine.com/post/45-percent-women-are-expected-to-be-single-and-childless-by-2030 These articles misinterpret the study. The pew trends indicate future trends, people who skew younger will be non parents, and it is the non parents who are less likely to plan on having kids. 18-49 is a broad range but it’s reasonable to interpret that as younger people to be the driving force in the uptrend. Anyways the other link shows what you’d expect from the pew results. Women of a given age…

Ok it seems the breadwinning woman also does more housework. And the female breadwinners are unsatisfied with their relationship probably because of that.

The news articles interpret it as childless. https://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2021/11/19/growing-share-of-childless-adults-in-u-s-dont-expect-to-ever-have-children/ Fwiw most adults expect to never have children https://ifstudies.org/blog/the-rise-of-childless-america Marriage and childbirth are highly correlated so it’s very similar. I think you’re just insecure and laying out your insecurities here. And being superficial isn’t being an abuser. Why even bring that up. And obviously unattractive people get famous but they’re the exception. Also the hilarious part is some of those dudes are handsome, just not male models. The first dude got famous for doing something wrong. And he’s not a famous politician either. The pedro pascal dude is clearly handsome. I mean no one will admit they’re superficial because they like to think of themselves as not, but everyone is. For example why do only very attractive people go viral. Ignoring the post just the point that you aren’t entitled to any sort of treatment from someone is wrong. Basic human decency should be expected. You should be entitled to polite treatment from others without violence (as is in the case of a black man walking near white people in the 1960s).

I think height fixation is a male gaze thing…it matters but face is way more important. It’s just harder to quantify and a lot of guys have an almost laughably inflated rating of their own face so they’d never blame it. (You always see some dude say they’re decent looking on Reddit and then you find out they have a melting chin and are unkempt) I know short handsome dudes that clean house. You can AB test this by making a hinge profile and modifying height. It’s either no boost or a slight boost…

Yeah do the vibe here isn’t something that will distinguish you, it just means a different kind of person is into you. In the above case, the girl who wants an extroverted guy would just pick neither since there are plenty of attractive extroverted guys as options.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/23 05:02 PM

Gender ratios on apps are balanced but women just leave much quicker. Ratio of MAU means the gender ratio of users active in a given month. But among sign ups it’s much more balanced. Girls get into a situationship with a guy quickly but that guy stays in the app.

An unsupervised model teaches itself. Do you know that gpt is incredibly simple. They just fed a large model terabytes of data and a few million dollars. It’s just resource intensive, which is not a problem for large tech companies. The rest was done through training. They only needed 200 people to do it, which is probably a lot lower than you think. Reddit requires thousands of employees to run.

I think it’s gradually gotten worse. It’s only recently that most people have started to meet online. Personally I’ve gotten exponentially better results as I’ve improved my attractiveness. The fact that you get exponentially better results implies that most top men get most women.

I have never met a guy who could easily get laid but couldn’t secure commitment if he wanted to. I don’t se how that even works. If you regularly sleep with new girls half of them will want to be your gf.

You’re married so you’ve been out of the dating game for a while, but for single dudes this is the case. I know men on both sides of the spectrum. One is sleeping with multiple girls a week, some of them virgins, others haven’t slept with a girl in months if not yearsz

Have you ever dated women? Fat girls are more insecure and tend to sleep around more to validate themselves. But sure keep deluding yourself that sleeping around as a woman requires you to be attractive. Also you can’t be serious that the average high BMI women has a high BMI because of childhood sexual assault or that obesity is sexualized.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/23 01:24 AM

I theorize rich women readily give rich men far more attention than other women. That’s why rich men end up with rich women. A poor women is open to dating both poor and rich but a rich women’s dating pool is far smaller. (Based on my experience and experience of friends, rich men)

In the 18-30 age group the difference is 30%. Why would bring hypergamous for youth (which makes 0 sense) imply the difference. Considering that means 30-40 year olds are dating 18-30 year olds which is disputed by any statistics, or simply leaving your hole in your apartment.

In a 1-1 pairing why would there be more single men than women? Clearly women aren’t dating that much older, real life and statistics dispute this. /r/PurplePillDebate25/02/23 01:36 AM
3

You sound a lot richer than average. Now I can’t r tell for sure, but you may also hold a lot of assumptions which rely on cheap available labor with low inflation. For example have you considered that property taxes could go up a lot to fund the government given a decline in income taxes. Or that your business margins will go down with sticky inflation and and rising cost of labor?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/23 01:32 AM

Those are pretty uncommon hobbies outside of the country side. Even there you can’t convince me you have to be rich to do any of that. Those are stereotypically poor hobbies.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/23 01:24 AM

How will you beat inflation (which is persistently getting higher because of the current labor shortage, ecactly the issue OP is talking about). Obviously the answer is just to be very rich but I assume you would have mentioned that?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/23 01:22 AM

In Japan the labor shortage is caused by the male work force decreasing in spite of the female work force increasing. I’ve said somewhere else that I am work hard now because one day I want to meet someone and have a family with them but I’d I didn’t I’d be content working a minimum wage job barley surviving and paying rent. Between weed, video games, and pirating entertainment, there isn’t much more I would need.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/23 01:17 AM

I’m fairly well off right now but I often think back to when I was content with living next to nothing. If I didn’t care about eventually finding a wife, I’d definitely be doing the bare minimum to live. Between video games, biking + going to the gym, pirating online entertainment, there isn’t much more I would need.

By 2021 the size of the labor force changed to 68.60 million, a decrease of 0.08 million from the previous year. Viewing by sex, the male labor force was 38.03 million, a decrease of 0.20 million, and the female labor force was 30.57 million, an increase of 0.13 million. Nope, the male workforce decreased and the female workforce increased
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/23 01:09 AM

Very disingenuous. The overall reduction is 1.1% which is huge over 3 years. The article says a large part of it is from the 25-54 range and that it’s less talked about. You either have very poor reading comprehension or are misrepresenting the article intentionally.

Gaming costs next to nothing, you can fund it with a few days at McDonald’s. I have a gaming pc from 7 years ago which I could still play games on if I wanted to. If you examine this more closely it’s more of an identity thing than an actualized preference. /r/PurplePillDebate29/01/23 05:14 PM

You’re probably not attractive and those guys are (guys are terrible judges of what’s attractive to women and everyone sort of has an ego that makes them think they’re better looking than they really are). I have never seen a guy in my life who consistently hooks up with girls unless he is hot or he fucks anything that breathes.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/23 05:13 PM

Being relationship material without hookup material means there’s a lack of raw attraction of the woman to the man that the hookup material dude would have. You can see this dynamic lay out in open relationships

/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/23 07:59 PM

What do you think an average is. It’s still 1 child per father and mother. The distribution is uneven obviously. The reason for the disparity is there being fewer women than men and that a lot of men probably don’t know or report they fathered a child. It’s impossible for women to not know or report it however since child births happen from the mother at hospitals. They probably don’t even need surveys to figure it out, just look at public broth records.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/23 07:14 PM
3

No? Girls with low body counts will sleep on the first date as well, they’re just selective (in a conducive way) with whom they date.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/23 07:12 PM
1

Let’s say there are 1000 children in the world. 10 guys and 10 girls. 1 guy gathered them all to the 10 girls. The child per person ratio for both genders is 100.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/23 04:48 PM
1

Yeah that affects the distribution not the average. At the end of the day you still need 1 mans and 1 woman per childbirth.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/23 04:08 PM
1

This statistic is partially because there is a surplus of men at reproductive age. Otherwise it makes no sense. It the number of men and women are equal, then the number of babies per man and woman will be the same even if the distribution is different.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/23 03:50 PM

There will be a labor shortage and I predict in the future current millennials and retirees will become increasingly dependent on the owners of automation. I’m not saying it falls on woman to do anything but clearly as a society our current generation is having its cake and eating it too. Also wages don’t come out of nowhere. Things will get more expensive because there will be less labor to go around.

/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/22 10:06 PM

Your confusing average with median. It looks more like this, single women and single men both work 40ish hours. A portion of married women and men also both work 40 hours and in another portion the man works 45-55 and the woman works 0-20 (part time) because they’re taking care of a child or are SAHM.

What do you not get? Sometimes a girl might put some guy in the hookup zone because she knows he won’t have a relationship with her. Why? Because this guy has too many better options to even consider dating her. And with a guy that might be willing to date her, she waits. Why? Because she’s that guys best option. I know this is true because I’ve known guys who have been on both ends.

I still think it’s an age thing..a minority of men are looking for long term relationships at my age, women my age don’t have any trouble at all finding men willing to hookup.

I guess at my age very few single guys will turn down sex with a girl they’re attracted to

Actually now that I think about it there’s one girl I know who’s like that, but she has some major issues and is very promiscuous. With that said, guys aren’t really propositioning to be in relationships with her. Even if it does happen it has to be pretty rare, and I don’t see many cases where the guy doesn’t realize that the woman aren’t likely to have a relationship to begin with (eg girls who’ve just broken up, daddy issues, etc)

Sounds unlikely, most guys would be more than open to casual sex even if they were actively dating. Maybe things change when guys libidos go down post 30??

Is this a thing when you get older? I (as a guy) have never in my life experienced or heard of this happening irl, but the reverse happens all the time.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
