2	Radio Hauraki has no talk day to raise awareness for male victims of suicide In New Zealand male suicide has been particularly bad in the area I grew up in. I'm in my early 20's and there have been multiple people from my high school who have passed away in the last 5 years. It keeps me up at night because I genuinely know what drove them to doing it. In NZ we have such a culture of being expected to be a steriotypical 'manly man' who plays Rugby and drinks beers every day after work who's tough and shows no weakness. -10	Male suicide is a big problem I dont like the association of masculinity to the concept of Toxic Masculinity, however I believe a lot of the things associated with the concept are very real. Pretty much people use that term to describe men doing horrible things that are not exclusive to being a man such as domestic abuse, sexual abuse, and mysoginy which all are mainly perpetrated by men in my country.	/r/MensRights	04/05/19 12:46 AM
