This is fucking ridiculous and toxic. This is a men’s rights forum, not a “I’m crazy and I hate women” forum

Been with my gf for nearly 3 years. She is an amazing, strong and independent woman who believes in feminism (equality) and we are very much in an even partnership, she has her shit together and is responsible. I think it is worth noting that some of the top comments were from women saying that he has every right to feel violated absolutely did not victim blame him. The impression I got from the thread was from men saying for him to suck it up etc. While I absolutely agree that this site would collapse if a group of males bathed a semi unconscious woman, we need to acknowledge the women that also see the double standard.

Couldn’t agree more. I honestly believe that my experience waiting tables and bartending as well as call centre customer service work etc when I was in uni gave me what I needed to get into my career. Being able to get on somebody’s level, showing confidence, thinking quick and having good patter will get you further than just being smart. People do business with people.
