I think most people can relate to sadness over achievement and assertion. This will likely influence most of what you described. Ironically, I think a lot of what is portrayed is just the same story of someone rising to prominence and ruling all, just with a female protagonist instead of a male. Not really THAT artistic, just a slight twist. Idk, art is subjective and no one is right or wrong. I think getting your emotions and vision across and evoking them in others without you present will get…

I wish the article explained itself better. It makes some decent points, but I'm not sure how impactful they are because the article is choppy, and doesn't flow well. But because it comes across as random ideas strung together, this article just seems like a big whining session that is poorly constructed.

A little bit, yeah, I can see it. I can tell he doesn't like the system, but he does play to it.

At first I thought he was a true journalist covering stories traditional outlets wouldn't and so I started listening. Then after awhile I felt he was talking in circles about all topics and adding a lot of outrage to things when not necessary. Also, he will casually assume and imply circumstances from other topics and offer that as truth, much like the outlets he tries to compete against.

Yeah, TwoX is like a bad art club. They like to sniff their own farts and boil everything down to "women make things better, men only detract value." But REAL victim advocates and activists can see unfairness, and don't let it hinder them. There's just a lot of cognitive dissonance surroundings topics like these, and people like to argue more than help.

Here we go again, she'll throw him under the bus to save herself yet the proceeds of the crime will mysteriously have been transformed into cosmetic surgery, designer women's shoes, bags and jewellery What do you mean again? But that's a pretty generalized state, like non of it could have become a house? I agree conceptually that the allegation is a way to shift blame. But damn, the over the top projection of what she spent it on was unnecessary.

Interesting. I like how she points out Marxist feminists that use two different metrics to assert oppression, with neither being wholly factual.

OP, I get your first point, but what the second and third? What are you basing that on?

Yeah, that's not a good sign. But, if the first few dates are all forgettable, just keep it moving. But your point goes beyond dates; women are allowed to passively participate in sex as well. They are often referred to as "dead fish".

Large assumptions of any group is dumb, but it doesn't change the fact that the viewpoints mentioned by OP are widely accepted as fact. Which kind of undermines your second point.

I would agree with that sentiment. I've lived in small towns and large population centers, and I've found nice people that have guidance or advice for both. Mostly depends on the person.

I'm unsure what the big deal is. She def talked about the female perspective, but admitted to a lot of pushing guys down in modern feminism. She advocated for lifting guys up. Even stated masculinity isn't inheirantly bad. Not saying re the hold up. But Tim Pool is a solid watch, def more biased than he lets on, but he does venture down undiscussed topics.

Yeah, let's all act like money grows on trees. And never mind it's the number reason for divorce. And even though my wife works as well, I make double what she does. And pay is generally indicative of the level of responsibility required for that position. Also, the same paramount processes for mental load are needed for most jobs these days. I personally do all four sub-categories in my professional life, and have become a manager for my ability to do so. After a long day using these steps to s…

That's a college/uni thing. Elsewhere IRL it's more of "women get discriminated sometimes, but this doesn't consume my life". I would suggest making new friends, and not saying your down with feminism. You'll link up with others who don't live and die by it, and life will be better. In the mean time, you can work on your chad qualities. If there's one thing I've noticed, it's that feminists still like traditional male looks, broadly speaking.

I think it's mostly the extremes on the internet. Dont take random strangers on the internet for more seriously than you can bare. They don't know you, and if you calmly engage and they still are assholes, I would discredit them. But women, imo, are expected to have the protection more than, and I would say that's unjust. On the flip side, they have more options than the pill. But to answer your question, it's because women are perceived to be more sexually oppressed. Every circumstance is diffe…

I like your tone of enabling discussion on one topic at a time. How you limited the conversation about the core emotional state of the idealogues you skyped with, versus the politics they believe and how they go against other idealogues in the other side. I also like how you outlined the dichotomy of dating as a man, that you can possibly be too assertive for someone holding more progressive standards, and not assertive enough for more traditional people. I also agreed with how you pointed out t…

I will say the double standards for women is annoying. Like they have no pressure to offer a service or product to get value and empathy, they have that regardless where as a man has to offer money, skill, or something else to not be considered a creep. So because of that, men have to strive to earn enough to meet their love interest's lifestyle. Men aren't really allowed to just vibe and coast through life. But women can do either and face no societal scrutiny. And not wanting to be harassed bu…

I mean, at the basis of it, yeah. That's the supply and demand part coupled with true libertarian values like equality over equity. But it's more akin to not talking to anybody in a room all of you occupy for hours at a time (school, work, public places, etc). It's not realistic. Everyone wants the warm and fuzziest and all of that. So I would say compromise on these two beliefs, and let people talk and possibly annoy someone with gentle unwanted sexual offers, but keep it in the offer and not d…

He did let the data speak though? I agree OP could have reduced his scope in the title, but it's not like 30-40 years is a small amount of time. If anything, it speaks to the disparity of feminists claim from history and how the current state of affairs says otherwise. That data could have been included, and made that point as well, but even then if OP said "recent history" I think we would all be in agreeance.

You're right, but that's a whole generational gap there. I think where OP is coming from is that most modern feminists cling to overarching history and ignore the current state of affairs.

I mean, for as expressive as you are I feel there are two to three other dudes super focused on solid, empirical type information and grinding that shit to pieces. Still a strong piece, but, having been on the flip side a lot of other media, idk how convincing it is. I have read numerous pieces where 50-80% through they reveal their midandrist message or some other hidden message and all but confirmed they didn't support equality but rather a flipping of ideals.

I think you're right in your definition of SJW. My definition is those who force id politics into everything, and cannot separate an individual from their group. Additionally, I think they give or take extra weight from a statement based on the speaker/writers group, such as straight white male or gay POC female. I think the SJW part of the walking dead and other shows is when statistically marginal communities are included in ever show, and extremized by the villain being white male and the her…

I think it's probably one of the better ways to frame this to get more people on board. As it stands, most people hear "men's rights" and laugh. I think it's smart to try and get people onboard from other activist groups, as hopefully they'll see the issues and have empathy for men's rights as well. This could be counter productive and make those same people feel jaded because the notion men have sex wide issues is largely disregarded. Additionally, a lot of the resolutions for men's issues coul…

I see the similarities, but didn't think it was satirical, just the same approach feminism has used to attract more advocates. Did you play into the cultist mantras on purpose? Lol I never said women weren't people too? I was talking about not being swayed by others and being mentally resilient, particularly with a grown woman making a young man repeat something until he feels guilty for just being a man? Idk wtf you think I'm talking about. I never down played rape. Thanks for trying to out words in my mouth again. Hope you feel better.

That's funny. You must be best friends with all of the girls in your life, just stuck in the friend zone. Hearing about all of the wants and desires, just never realize it's not you despite your pining and deceitful attempts to get to know them. But no, my second point was a more of a comment on what's considered "right" or the "norm" is ever moving, and the kid in the post should have stuck to his guns if he didn't believe in those words. And it's not just the person in the post, it's most of t…

I mean, there's a decent amount of coaching in the comment, if it is to be believed. Imagine it was the opposite scenario and "don't wear provacative clothes and you won't be raped" to a girl was used in place of "no means no" to the boy. There would borderline be blood on the streets. Unfortunately, the mental resilience to not be swayed by the number of people saying the same thing seems to be dwindling. I would be lying if I said my stance on things hasn't changed across the years, partially …
