I agree that men are generally less happy being permanently single, but that doesn’t mean women are happier being single cat ladies than being in a loving relationship.

How about an app where to join you have to pledge to give $50 or something if you end up in a relationship with somebody from the app? It would be purely based on the honor system, so lot of people wouldn’t pay it, but I think a significant percentage of people would. I’d certainly be happy to pay the fee if they helped me find a partner.

I’d say provided there is the potential for attraction.

“The spark” is the enemy of actually finding a relationship through online dating. I think if you enjoy a date and there’s no major red flags or incompatibility and the person is not unattractive to you then you should give it at least one or two more dates before deciding whether you should keep dating them or not.

She is average, definitely doesn’t look above average to me. I think she maybe get to a 7 with a total makeover, but that’s stretching it.

Generally, you need to be relatively happy when you're single to be able to attract a partner, because its hard to attract someone if you are down and/or depressed. However, you are right, the vast majority of people would be happier in a loving relationship, so I think it is dumb to just tell people to be content with being single. Yes, make the best of being single, but it is not bad or illogical to wish for a relationship.

I’m fine without casual sex, I just want to be able to have regular sex lol. Casual sex is not that great. It’s exhausting/stressful constantly talking to new women on Tinder or trying to pick them up at bars and there is much more worry about STDs and pregnancy because you don’t know the person like you do in an LTR. Also you run the risk of hooking up with a crazy girl.

There’s no where in America where 99% of young people are slim and in shape.

Yeah, being overweight if not obese has become normalized in America.

Well there are a lot of poor and minority young people, that’s like half of the population of young people.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/21 04:59 AM

Well I did say this was just a possible contributing factor but not the main reason. The main reason is likely technology and dating culture.

That is true but it’s still a large percentage of young people who are overweight or obese and it’s not as dramatically less of a percentage among teens and 20-somethings versus 30+ year old adults as you would think. Overweight is between BMI 25 and 30, and lots of people fall into that category. 21.2% of adolescents are obese and the percentage who are overweight is a harder number to find but it’s likely about the same since almost the same percentage of adults are obese as are overweight, so…

Young people are getting fat. 21.2% of adolescents are obese, this doesn’t even include overweight adolescents and the percentage who are overweight is a harder number to find but it’s likely about the same since almost the same percentage of adults are obese as are overweight, so it’s likely around 40% of adolescents who are obese or overweight. I can’t find statistics for young adults only, but it’s almost certainly higher. I did find a statistic that 40% of people age 20-39 are obese (again, …

Yes but obesity has still risen dramatically among young people. A large percentage of teens and 20 somethings are overweight/obese nowadays.

Yeah but most people would rather have sex with someone who’s physically fit, even if they’re fat themselves. I’d rather just jerk off than have sex with a fat girl.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/21 04:26 AM

How do you know that? I would think it would lead to less sex if people are getting less attractive. A lot of people complain about their significant other gaining weight and then not being attracted to them and not having sex because of it.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/21 04:24 AM

I think people not having sex before marriage works great if people get married young, like early 20’s. But the norm now is not to get married until around 30 if at all, and I think going your whole teens and 20’s sexless is pretty depressing for most guys.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/21 09:18 PM

I agree. While porn doesn’t replace sex, it definitely reduces dudes’ sexual desire. When I haven’t looked at porn or masturbated in a week or longer, way more girls look attractive to me than usual and I have a much stronger desire to go after them.

Most girls don’t like me but the girlfriends I have had were all really nice and lovey-dovey at least in the beginning. I think if you find a girl who genuinely likes you then she will be like that at least for the first several months. It’s probably easier to maintain that for longer if you’re conventionally attractive though.

Being ugly and/or fat. It doesn’t make guys consider them losers necessarily, but it makes them undateable to most guys.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/21 01:43 PM

Yea it’s definitely not average, but it at least shows it’s possible. The average person these days is overweight or obese, more so as they get older. You don’t have to be jacked or spend 2 hours in the gym everyday, but just eating healthy and keeping your weight healthy will make you age better than most people.

The face will always be wrinkly on a 60+ year old, but the body can still look relatively good if they are fit. Here is a fit woman in her 60s: https://www.today.com/today/amp/tdna82466 Here is a fit guy in his 60s: https://www.ladbible.com/community/inspirational-man-in-his-60s-says-he-has-body-of-20-year-old-20190130.amp.html

You can stay fit in your 30’s though, and beyond. I think this biggest cause of people getting less attractive as they get older is getting fat. People who stay relatively low body fat percentage as they get older tend to age really well. The face is what ages the most, but if you stay fit, your body can look good into your 60’s.

Africa is pretty much the only place in world with a really high fertility rate, and unfortunately the least able to take care of its people.
/r/MGTOW19/04/21 06:35 AM

India’s fertility rate is declining and is actually around 2.2 births per woman, which is almost down to the fertility rate needed to keep the population constant.

India’s fertility rate is actually declining and is near replacement level. Africa is one of the only parts of the world that has fertility rates well above replacement level.

In many ways women in small towns are worse. They’re more likely to be fat, less educated, and have a shitty job.

I always point out that Asians (and Jews) out earn whites when people talk about “systemic racism” and “white privilege”. Nigerian immigrants also have a higher average income than whites. If America was truly as racist as they say, then whites would be at the top in everything.

People get so triggered by older men that date younger women. The reason women get triggered by it (especially older ones) is because it reminds them that men prefer young, beautiful women

If you don’t care then that’s fine, but people are always posting on here about the relationship between a woman’s number of partners before marriage and the likelihood of divorce. I would prefer a woman who is a virgin or only had sex with me before marriage, but I’m also willing to accept a woman that only had a few partners who she was in serious relationships with.

At least she is a virgin before marriage. That is very rare these days. So it’s not like she’s been blowing random guys from Tinder and then decides she doesn’t want to give them to her future husband. Also, I may be in the minority, but I think BJs are overrated anyways. I would always prefer PIV sex to a BJ. And I don’t even really care about getting a BJ during foreplay. Sure they feel good, if done right, but if she’s willing to have sex regularly, I wouldn’t mind not getting BJs.

I don’t mind olive skin, I love it! As long as it’s natural. A tan does look good on a lot of girls, but if they’re naturally fair skinned, it’s a turn-off if they deliberately tan because I feel it’s a poor decision and I know they will age a lot worse which is not ideal if I’m going to have a long term relationship with them. Also I think their natural fair skin looks just as good.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/21 04:59 AM
2

I highly doubt it’s anything inherent to white skin, I think it’s due to sun damage affecting white skin much more. I bet white people who protect themselves from the sun age about the same as other ethnicities.

I’m turned off by girls that tan because I know they’re gonna age really quickly.

I don’t agree. Everyone is exposed to bread, knows the different types of bread, and has tried bread. I think there are a lot of guys who would use and enjoy sex toys, but haven’t really been exposed to them much, and don’t know what’s out there, so they haven’t really thought seriously about using them. If every guy was aware of all the options out there and how realistic some of them feel, a lot more would buy them.

Why the fuck would you spend $200 on a date anyways?! Much less a first date, which it sounds like this would be. That guy is actually retarded if he spends that much on dates.

That logic works for most things, like a scalpel, it’s going to cut whether you believe it will or not. But it’s different when it comes to self improvement, especially with the mind. Even with exercising, if you believe it won’t work, then you probably won’t stick with it long enough for it to work. With psychological techniques, I think it’s almost necessary that you believe it can work, or are at least open minded that it can work. Placebos are a great example of this because they actually do…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/21 06:47 AM
4

Well plenty of people try things, but go in with the mindset of “this won’t work because of x reason”
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/21 05:42 AM
6

Maybe it didn’t work because you believe you’re a slave to your brain chemistry. If you go in with the mindset that it won’t work, then it won’t work. (Although maybe you believed it could work and gave it a wholehearted try before coming to the conclusion that it didn’t work due to your brain chemistry)
