Yeah, I find it odd that most people don’t care at all when movies or tv shows or books feature several men being brutally violated or murdered, but the moment all that stuff happens to women, it becomes unwatchable and misogynistic.

I noticed this EXACT same thing in this dumb anime I once watched called Monster Musume. The main male character is a legit good person, and every other man is either a jerk, a pervert, or a mix of both.

Remember that one South Park episode where a female teacher was having a sexual relationship Ike, but none of the police took it seriously at all and just thought about how lucky he was? And even when they decided to arrest her, they sent her to rehab (which didn’t even last a day) after she claimed her alcoholism was the reason for her crimes? It’s genuinely insane how close to reality that episode was.

Yeah. Once I saw a post of a TikTok where a woman was biting a kitten’s ear, and the kitten was rather distressed. So I commented that biting a kitten’s ear is a horrible thing to do. But I guess a lot of people thought I was being sarcastic, because I got a lot of backlash because of it.
