Well, reddit has a pretty massive liberal bias, and sometimes very legitimate posts such as yours get huge amounts of downvotes, not to mention SRS is always out in full force. I understand exactly what you're saying, and I gotta say that my "data" is not empirically gained, and is subject to things such as selection bias (and even confirmation bias).
