Okay, not great. Lots of challenges (mostly financial) right now and definitely not feeling up to them. Mostly wish I could just sleep. But, today I tried "smile like you mean it" and it worked alright - trying to stay positive at least lightens the mood.

You need to talk to someone who is not Reddit. Call 988, the brand spankin' new suicide hotline. 34 is very, very young despite the difficulties you are experiencing, and you are talking about a permanent solution to transitory problems. Just call 988, man.
