You were also confident at some point that your marriage would last forever too. Hire a PI. She has more than likey been cheating, or has someone she is talking to.

I have a lot of idiot friends the found "the one" again, only to be divorced a few years later. Then guess what they did? ... Found "the one" once again, only to be divorced a few years later. Rise and repeat. Once a man is "in love" you can't tell them shit. It's all "not my girl", "not this one, she's different"

Learn your lesson and move on. Enjoy your life and stop buying into the fairytale sold to you as a child.

Yeah, but all that time waisted smh. I’ll never understand why a man would get married, let alone stay with someone making them miserable for decades. 35 years is the bulk and prime of your life. Gone, cuz you “fell in love“ once. I’m currently watching friends go through this, practically all of my male friends, and it’s so sad. I warned each and every one of them. I was told I didn’t know what I was talking about. That I was somehow jealous of the prison they put themselves in.

Damn, I feel so bad for your generation. Dating is so f**ked. I’m glad I had my fun when I was younger, and to be honest sex just isn’t as interesting to me anymore. I have a full life, and don’t even look for it. If it happens randomly, cool, but I’m not wasting any time & energy chasing it. I lost my virginity at 14 on a camping trip. If I were you I would just get an escort. Besides, wouldn’t you rather have a pro than an amateur?

In the end, no amount of screening can save you. It’s a gamble. You are playing with fire 🔥. It’s just the reality of our society today. It’s best to accept this, move on, and make the most out of the time you have left.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
