I wouldn’t say I’m lonely, but I could definitely stand to make some new friends especially since I live in the burbs and most of my friends are in the city or in other states. Already made the resolution this year to join an adult men’s softball league, gonna be signing up for that soon

You can still become a great version of yourself and not get fucked over financially/socially/every other which way based on the fleeting whim of another person.

A good post to be sure, but just more evidence that long term relationships are WAY too much work for VERY little reward. Plates and short term relationships are de whey, especially when so much more easily obtainable nowadays than for past generations of men.

Combo of both working and loans. 18 credit hours/semester and worked probably 25-30 hours a week, sometimes two jobs. The college in my hometown was just a community college, not a bachelor’s degree program. I was pretty much too busy doing shit between school, work, and partying with friends that I barely had time to focus on girls.

Another city over an hour away so i essentially had to lol. But I also think it’s important to move out of your parents around your age especially if the only reason is to save money. It forces you to grow up and figure shit out on your own. Lots of people who live with their parents for too long are severely socially stunted and can’t function in society.

Loans, which I then had to pay off. I also worked as much as I could and had multiple paid internships

Yeah, it’s just the way the cookie crumbles. Lots of my friends in college had their parents pay their way and I was stuck paying off debt for close to 10 years. But you gotta make the most of the situation, and that starts with controlling the things in your power. You’ll get there bud, just focus on yourself today and you’ll be set up in a better position tomorrow, and then the girls will come. Girls aren’t as important as other things, especially the trash out there nowadays.

Sounds like you need to stop thinking about broads until you get your general life shit together. If you live with your parents as an adult and you’re not handicapped that means you have things to work on. Edit: nvm it looks like you are a student? Living with parents is fine then. Focus on your studies and internships if they’re necessary for your area of work. Get a job to make money to afford your own place. Chicks are supposed to be a side benefit, not your main focus. Yes, a lot of posts on…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
