So that excuses only one gender being required to register for the draft?

I think most people register when they get a driving license or register to vote. I had to do mine to register to vote.

Yeah feminists fought important battles for equal rights. It made sense to have a gender specific group then. Sexism isn’t as socially appropriate now, so it’s more important to work together to improve civil rights for everyone, instead of remaining divided.

2020 the army is changing to a gender and age neutral physical fitness test.

That completely makes it ok to be sexist.

You’re conflating feminism with a non gendered equality-ism. People who specifically advocate for female privileges have a more legitimate claim to feminism than humanists.

The entire point of the justice system is that it is better for a thousand guilty men to go free than for one innocent man to be imprisoned. That’s the ideal on a frictionless plane in a vaccuum.

Feminism should not be about equal right for both genders. There’s already a term for that. Feminism is specifically about womens’ rights.

This is why payday loan businesses are thriving in low income communities. They don’t have to worry about the risk when the interest can become more than the original loan.

Is there something wrong with choosing not to give a high risk loan to someone in a community which is unlikely to be able to repay it? Sure, some members of that community will outperform their peers. However, the risk is too high for a lending institution.

I could get down with being able to sell kids. It's hard work making them, but I would put in the hours if I could crank em out for profit. Obviously I mean to sell them to people who cannot create their own children, but would be great parrnts otherwise.

It also doesn't really belong here. The organisers apologised to Sarkeesian for letting someone sit quietly in the audience while being verbally attacked.

You can get a lot of money from claiming to be oppressed.

Seconded request for the link. I know Sarkeesian is a shitty person, but committing fraud to dodge taxes while preaching bigotry is pretty low.

I posted in donald's sub to refute some asshattery of a bigoted argument, and got shadowbanned from a bunch of bigotry subs (but not the ones I was arguing with).

When it comes to tribal shitslinging, there is no crime worse than refusing to take a side. No bigot likes a neutral. That's why equalists are ignored while people who claim to be for equality try to pretend that feminism is not inherently directed towards one gender. At least meninists in general are honest that they're advocating for mens' rights. They're both jackasses. Like democrats and republicans. Or liberals and conservatives. People jump on a team because they want to belong, then try t…

Because if someone really wanted equality they would distsnce themselves from feminists and malenists.

Originally it was to advance women's rights to become equal to men. After that was achieved, modern feminists couldn't just become equalists.

I downvoted, but have to agree that some people are just easily manipulated idiots who want to belong to the popular group.

There's no need to correct the imbalance. If one group of people is more interested in something that's okay. Give equal opportunity. That's all you need. It's not bad if the outcomes are not equal. White people like nascar. There's no need to push others to be fans of turning left and drinking shitty beer. Men pursue careers in physical labor. There's no need to push women to become lumberjacks. So long as everyone has the opportunity, it's fine if they choose something they prefer.

Yes I agree that you should be allowed to buy and sell with whoever you want, without being forced to do business without consent. I can then choose to not do business with you. For example: Chik-fil-a has some bomb ass chicken sammiches. However, they do not separate business from personal opinions. So I don't purchase their wares.

Equality of opportunity is the law. What certain bigoted groups want is equality of outcome.

It has nothing to do with abortion. Women can drop out of a pregnancy at any time. They no longer have to deal with it if they don't want to. Men cannot do the same. They are forced to participate if the woman wants them to.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
