1	Circumcision is wrong... Very true. Hollywood has many examples of showing women grossed out at the thought of an uncircumcised natural man. Once something is dictated by religion its very hard to change people's minds. Especially since the majority follows blindly. You can be that the mother has similar feelings about what you and is upset that you want to remove her name. Its 100% beneficial for you and your child if this doesn't keep getting more hostile. 5	Circumcision is wrong... Circumcision is purely cosmetic. It has no real benefits. It's ingrained in cultures because of male genital hatred by religions. (a big discussion I can get into it if need be). It's a barbaric assault on an infant boy. It has physical and psychological ramifications. 0	Legal Question You are going to be in this situation for the next 18 years. Meaning, pretty much each decision has to be decided by a judge. It gets super expensive and exhausting very quickly. Pick your battles wisely. If you don't, the more resentment that is built between you and the mother, the more all 3 of you are going to suffer.
