He isn't! You obviously didn't read the article or any of the comments. He is only paying child support for his biological children. Not the new baby that isn't his.
/r/MensRights04/01/24 10:59 PM

No he isn't. He is only paying for the children that they share. His and hers. The title is misleading. The child she had with someone else is not what he is paying for.

He's paying child support after a mutually agreed custody agreement and no alimony or spouse support. Where is the issue here?

I'm a woman and the bread winner in my relationship. My husband works part time and stays home with our kid. I would absolutely love this deal if I was in that situation. I would have no issue paying for my children, especially not having alimony.
/r/MensRights04/01/24 02:57 AM

The kids are in incredibly expensive private schools and live a super privileged life. That money is probably taken up by tuition. Also, she waived the right to spousal support and they came to a mutual custody agreement. He's literally just paying for his kids. This is a rather ideal situation for him. He doesn't even have alimony to pay.

He's paying child support for his children not the child from another person. Your post is misleading and you should clarify.

How does that jive in relationships where the woman is the breadwinner?

Have you seen every sitcom ever? Dad bods have always been in. That is why you all don't have the same kind of movement. Big average dudes with unrealistic insanely hot thin wives has always been the norm in media.

That is fine. I'm not claiming that all incels are bad. You.can help them all you want. All I'm saying is that this post doesn't belong in MRA. It is linking MRA with inceldom,.l which a lot for MRA people are against.
/r/MensRights31/12/22 09:51 PM

Read my initial comment again. How and where was that an insult? All I said was if MRA want to stop being associated with incels (which many do) they should stop using their rhetoric. Where is the insult?
/r/MensRights31/12/22 09:49 PM
1

But also, lets not pretend that there isn't a significant population in the incel communitywho have extreme misogynistic views. That opinion isn't from the media. It's from spending literally any time on incels.net. I can understand why MRA don't want to be associated
/r/MensRights31/12/22 08:10 PM

I never insulted anyone. You're the one judging if you think just saying a term "incel" is an insult. I said nothing judging incels or anyone. I just pointed out that this is how you get associated with them. By using their rhetoric I know that men's rights people always argue that they don't want to be affiliated with incels, but then you get posts like this. I never implied if that was good or bad. You did.
/r/MensRights31/12/22 08:06 PM

I'm not insulting him. I'm just pointing out that if men's rights guys want to stop being associated with incels, they should probably stop using incel rhetoric. Just my piece of advice. How is that an insult?

Go read the guys comments dude. His were pretty messed up. Even other people on here we're calling them out as messed up over generalizations about hating western women. Equality and fighting for rights doesn't have to be filled with hating an entire group of people.
/r/MensRights31/12/22 04:44 PM

Uh not at all. That's not the same thing dude. If someone were walking around saying "seigheil or heil Hitler," I'ma call them what they are.. a natzi Likewise, someone walking around talking about "black pill and chads" I'ma call them what they are.. By choosing to use certain rhetoric, op is associating themselves with that group.

Have you seen the comments?. Particularly the guy trying to get a subservient "eastern wife". Also, common sense,if you don't want to be associated with a group, don't use their rhetoric.

Sorry, but if you are both working you still need to be contributing some percent to cleaning. If he works 60 hours and she works 40, he should still be helping with at least 20% of the housework. Right now, I work more and make the bulk of the money, so I don't do as much of the housework as my husband, but I still contribute by cooking dinner a few nights a week and doing the bulk of the cleaning on the weekends. /r/MensRights13/12/22 03:34 PM

It was a study that explored lack of sex in relationships. Men are disproportionately experiencing their partner losing attraction. This study wasn't some conspiracy to shit on men. It was trying to study why they aren't attractive to their long term spouses

How old are you? This is not the case for my generation. I'm the breadwinner in my family. Most of my friends work equal amounts and contribute pretty equally. Most jobs are.40 hours a week or more and women make up half the work force, so your numbers don't really add up.

That's bull. This isnt the 1950s. Most families are dual income now. I'm a woman and the breadwinner in my family. Now that I work more, he does more at home. There was a time it was the opposite. It's about balance and this article was talking about guys becoming dependents. You missed the entire point of the article and the study. You are talking about exceptions to the rule. The study is looking at partners who dont contribute equally. Period.

I literally just said that lazy wives who don't want to work or clean are deadbeats and I wouldn't have sex with them. This isnt the big.deal you think it is
/r/MensRights12/12/22 11:03 PM

Generally the main reasons state for losing labido in marriage is because they get overwhelmed doing all the work at home and working, so anecdotally there is evidence that men who help at home get more sex. Go look at the dead bedrooms sub
/r/MensRights12/12/22 08:38 PM
44

Did you read this? This isn't a study talking about stay at home moms. It's talking about your average couple where both the man and the woman works, and the guy doesn't do anything at home. I wouldn't want to fuck the deadbeat who said I had to do al the cleaning and cooking myself in addition to also working full time. Fuck that no matter which gender you are.
/r/MensRights12/12/22 08:37 PM
-1

Did you all forget that on myost modern relationships men and women are both working? You guys are surprised someone doesn't want to fuck the guy who expects you both to work and she do all the chores and cleaning, or worse the guys who are dependent on the wife who don't work or clean? This isn't that hard to understand
/r/MensRights12/12/22 08:35 PM
4

Did nobody read the article? It's not talking about stay at home moms. It's talking about a typical dynamic where both parties work and the guy expects only the woman to do the chores. And it talks about guys becoming dependent who don't want to work or clean. And we are supposed she doesn't want to fuck the deadbeat?
/r/MensRights12/12/22 08:33 PM
-1

Did you read this? In most cases now both the man and woman work. The issue arises when the man doesn't pull his equal weight with home and work, making them totally dependent and the relationship unbalanced If either a woman or a man didn't want to work and also didn't want to cook and clean, I would think they were a deadbeat and not want to sleep with them regardless of their gender. This study really isn't that surprising.
/r/MensRights12/12/22 08:30 PM
-18

Did you read this or just like the clock bait title? Most families are two income households now. You missed the point of the article. It is a problem when a man is not the sole earner and also not contributing to house work. If your wife wasn't working much and also not cooking or cleaning you also would not be satisfied with her
/r/MensRights12/12/22 04:52 PM

I was talking about ops post. I was simply explaining why op is thinking there is a men's rights issue here. Yes, we.see it less common with men surrendering, but there is a reason for that. This is just numbers.Youre assigning emotion to my words when I was pointing out (in a cheeky way) the fact that there are more single mothers than fathers, therefore more mothers surrender, but both have equal rights to do so.
/r/MensRights12/12/22 02:39 PM
2

Potato potato. That's irrelevant to my point. I was just pointing out to op that men and women can abandon children with their partner or surrender them to the state. These are different things and it isn't a man vs woman thing
/r/MensRights12/12/22 02:23 PM
-6

That isn't what we are talking about. We are talking about abandonments. Half of those do not happen to newborns it happens at toddler age when people get overwhelmed or circumstances change and they can't take care of them anymore. That 45% of abandoned children still exist
/r/MensRights12/12/22 02:04 PM
-6

It is more common for a man to leave a woman with the baby than a woman to leave a man. Therefore, you see more cases of single women surrendering a baby because the father has already left and isn't in the picture. It is less common that a woman abandons her man with a baby. However, in cases where a man is a single father, he has all the same rights as a woman in surrendering a child.
/r/MensRights12/12/22 01:42 PM
-10

You're an idiot. A single mother can relinquish her child to be adopted out. A single father can also relinquish their child and a couple can relinquish their child. Most dad's dip first, while the mother is in the picture. That is why you don't see the father relinquishing as often.

I've seen another article where it is much more clear. This article is not well written and does makes it ambiguous.

You don't understand what unscripted means. All that means Is that a kiss wasnt written into the script. Nowhere does it say that she kissed him on set without asking. It says she brought it up to them. They all agreed to try it. And, When they did the first kiss, the decided to add it to the script next it worked in the scene. You are the one who needs to read carefully
/r/MensRights10/12/22 03:14 PM
0

It said she brought it up to the three of them, the three of them talked about it adding it, and then it happened. Thatt isn't sexual harassment. You need to read more carefully. Nowhere does it say that she kissed him before asking. It says that they all discussed trying it out. The director liked the kiss in the rehearsal and decided to add it to the script and do it again
/r/MensRights10/12/22 03:10 PM

Do you not know what "after conceding means" "After conceding that a kiss between the two characters would make for a great scene"
/r/MensRights10/12/22 04:05 AM
0

That is not what happened. Can you read? They asked if they could add a kiss to the scene and then they discussed adding it to the scene and kissed. They all consented to kissing. This isn't a scandal. Crying sexual abuse over a consensual kiss. Wtf are you talking about?
/r/MensRights10/12/22 04:01 AM
-5

Did you read the article or just the title?. She literally just had a conversation with the director and Brad Pitt and said "i think my character would kiss his" and they all three agreed and had a consensual kiss on screen. And they were convicted of different crimes. His wire fraud charges carried longer sentences relative to her defrauding investors charges. Regardless of how little you think their incredibly weird relationship played a role, this was not about gender. They just had different crimes. Was she supposed to get time for his wire fraud crimes? No.
/r/MensRights08/12/22 11:08 PM
1

I still think he had a big role in the scandal. I don't think that is hard to imagine in this situation. Regardless, that isn't why he got more time. They did different crimes. He got more time because he committed several counts of wirefraud because he was the one that did that part of it. She got time for less counts of defrauding investors which carried less time. So, in either case, your argument is moot and it isn't about gender here

No dude. I am falling into the guy was a skeeve grooming and fucking a woman who was barely an adult ( a literal teenager) who was like 15 or 20 years younger than him, while acting as her mentor and advisor

He started mentoring and dating her at 18 and had a heavy hand in guiding her terrible decisions. They were equally involved in it's start, and he was the adult.

He was the puppet master tho, initially. She was like 18 when they met and started a romantic relationship/ mentorship. You the 18 year old had more way than the established 50 year old? He was feeding her lies about "this is just how it's done. It'll work out. Trust me." And she did because he was a professional adult and she was a teenager. He kicked the whole shit show off.

/r/MensRights08/12/22 02:50 AM

I'm literally a woman and the breadwinner in my family. You're wrong. It's much more common today in the 30-ish and younger demographic.
/r/MensRights07/12/22 04:20 PM
2

Usually it's because of kids. In a trad family, the guy isn't equipped to take care of the kids by himself, so he leaves the wife and kids there. I don't think this is some anti man thing. It's just what happens because of how our society has been traditionally structured, with women as caretakers.
/r/MensRights07/12/22 04:18 PM
3

Or you're carrying the load because youre the new guy and they have seniority. Or you just think it's harder for you. There is no way to tell. Nothing here screams sexism. If a woman was like "my job's hard. I think it's harder than everyone else's" and tried to cry sexism you would laugh at them
/r/MensRights01/12/22 02:49 PM
1

I do think the fear is wide spread, as 1 in 4 women are estimated to have experienced some form of sexual assault. However, I wouldn't say those actions you mentioned are things are accepted by the masses. A fringe extreme maybe. Nobody is banning men from walking at night.
/r/MensRights13/11/22 07:55 PM
1

I'm not taking about behavior. I'm talking about feelings, which people can't control. If a rape victim is walking alone at night feels fear at seeing a man, that is not a choice or a behavior. It's no different than a war vet feeling fear from hearing fire works. Neither chose to flinch. Neither made the conscience decision to do so, but the feeling is real.
/r/MensRights13/11/22 06:36 PM
-3

It's a learned response. Not all dogs are bad, most are harmless and cute, but if you got bit by a dog once (or more than once) you would understandably be weary of them. It's not a conscience choice. It's an ingrained response that was conditioned by no choice of their own.
/r/MensRights13/11/22 02:05 PM

Stelthing (removing condoms secretly) is now considered a crime and considered rape. That would likely also include the fact that if a man is consenting to have sex with a woman using birth control and she isn't, that would also be a crime. I doubt any judge would force a father into custody/child support if the woman was found guilty of sabotaging the birth control
/r/MensRights27/10/22 07:52 PM
1

Bro no. You are wrong. It's been 10 years, and still never paid a dime. The literal lawyer informed her that because it was stat rape, he will never owe child support. I think the lawyer knows better than you
/r/MensRights27/10/22 05:11 PM
-1

Then she can get an IUD and/or you can choose to get a vasectomy. There are so many ways to prevent pregnancy effectively. If you choose to not use them and have a child (which is the case for most unplanned babies) that is partly on you.
/r/MensRights27/10/22 04:57 PM
1

Indiana. Most states have protection against rape for men. This was one example. She was allowed to keep the baby because he did not press charges because he and his parents lied about his age and knew it would be a challenge. He said he wouldn't charge her if she didn't push for child support because her lawyer informed her that if he charged her, he wouldn't have to pay child support anyway because it is rape
/r/MensRights27/10/22 04:34 PM
0

That's bs. I'm a woman. I have been asked by almost every single man I have been sexually involved with to go without the condom. Most of the women I know, do not mind condoms, and most prefer them for the STD prevention. They don't feel that different for us. Men are typically the ones begging to raw dog it. You can choose to not date a woman who refuses to wear one. Which I gurentee is a minority
/r/MensRights27/10/22 04:31 PM
0

It doesn't matter. It applies in any case of rape. And, that is fine that you don't want to use condoms in a serious relationship ,but realize that that is a choice that you are making. Nobody forced you to make that choice and if a Fuck up happens, that is partially your responsibility. That is all I've been trying to say this whole time.
/r/MensRights27/10/22 03:17 PM
0

I keep repeating myself because you keep being disengenuous. We do not make rules for the majority based on extraneous circumstances. Instead of talking about what to do about the majority of people who have unwanted babies, you keep bringing up irrelevant special circumstances. This is pointless and you are misrepresenting the argument at hand. A good argument would be to first discuss what to do in the general case and then identify exceptions.
/r/MensRights27/10/22 03:15 PM
1

That's how most unwanted babies are being produced and we all know it. It's common sense. Condoms are 99% effective. Female birth control contributes when. The pill is taken incorrectly. It is pretty obvious how most people are getting pregnant.
/r/MensRights27/10/22 03:12 PM
1

So, 90% of men get one set of rules and we have a different set for the 10%. That is literally how it already works. Men who have children by rape are not forced into fatherhood. They don't even have to pay child support, so they are irrelevant to this conversation.
/r/MensRights27/10/22 03:41 AM
1

You didn't answer my question. How does a guy impregnating a gal affect male body autonomy? I'm genuinely confused about what you are talking about
/r/MensRights27/10/22 03:40 AM
0

Actually, in cases of rape men are not required to be parents. They do have recourse. I remember a girl I knew in highschool for pregnant by a boy who lied about his age. He said he was 17, but after she got pregnant it came out that he was actually 15 and was cutting class in middle school and walking over to the highschool for her to pick him up. When she got pregnant he declined any parental rights and never had to pay child support because it was stat rape. Most people are not getting pregna…

I'm saying that when we are speaking generally about a topic we should make our opinions based on reality -not rare circumstances. Different moral rules can exist for extreme outlier cases. It's a shitty argument style to equate those things. This post is about the idea that men in general shouldn't be responsible for unwanted children. I would argue that most are responsible except in the outlier uncommon circumstances mentioned. In those cases they would be held to a different standard. That i…

I doubt even most pregnancies are from deceptive women not taking there BC. Gurentee it was equally woman taking birth control improperly on accident and/or guys who begged and pleaded not to use a condom because it "doesn't feel as good". You always have the option to use both. General rule should be don't raw dog someone unless you could stand having a child with them. Otherwise you have to rely on them not messing up their BC. Besides, if you really don't want kids, why would you not take you…

I'm not a feminist or even saying whether or not people should or shouldn't get abortions. All I'm saying is that most men and women who end up with unwanted children made choices that got them there. It doesn't happen by magic. They each have times when they make decisions about whether to be parents. Excluding the rare cases of rape, coercion, deception. Men have to make the decision sooner, e.g., don't impregnate a women. Women can also choose to prevent being impregnated and in many places t…

Don't rely on someone you don't trust taking the pill. Use a condom anyway. I think a general rule should be that you don't raw dog someone unless you could deal with having a kid when them. And whilw we are at it, let's push to develop more male.BC. there isn't more male birth control because there isn't a demand for it because they tend to put the onus on them woman. That isn't our fault.

This is disengenuous. Cases of rape are clearly exceptions, which I have stated several times. That isn't what we are talking about. We are talking about most cases of unwanted pregnancy, which is typically a result of ones choices.

It is wrong. Blame the system for failing to do what it is supposed to do, but don't claim that it is set up to do anything else. If a woman wants to give up a child, and the father wants it, he is supposed to get that child by law in most places. Just because people scheme to break the law, does not change the rule

I mentioned things men can do because we are talking about a men's issue. Women have even more options for preventing pregnancy. As a woman, when I did not want a child I took the simple step of getting an IUD. Case closed. Pregnancy avoided. Everyone has choices. People need to take responsibility for their choices and this is from someone who had a surprise pregnancy. My fiance and I made a choice to not get other forms of birth control after my IUD expired because we were getting married soon…

They both have a choice. Many choices. The only reason she gets the last choice, is because it's her body. But there are many more choices along the way that usually lead to pregnancy in most cases. Ignoring arbitrary values, the majority of unwanted pregnancies are not caused by rape or manipulation. You know this, I know this. You are being disengenuous. (And I wasnt saying 1% of men get raped, but probably < 1% get pregnant as a result, similar for women)

I disagree. If two people make a child they are financially responsible due to their bad decisions (obviously with exceptions mentioned above). If a woman wants to give up her child to the father, she is also financially responsible.

Actually, any single parent or couple (in agreement) has a right to abandon a child at a fire station. Men can also do this unless the mother is around. And women can do this unless the father is around. That is not a female privilege And the reason a woman can put up for adoption without consent is because they may not know who the father is. However, the father can always petition for custody And, a single dad can also give their child up for adoption. None of those things are exclusively fema…

They could also just not have unprotected sex with people who dont share the same views about Parenthood. There are so many almost foolproof birth control methods out there. Pick any. It's on both people to make responsible decisions. If anyone man or woman doesn't want to be a parent, don't have unprotected sex. Or just don't have unprotected sex with women who are against abortion.. how about that. It is a choice to have sex with someone and possibly become a parent. Men have to make the decision earlier because their body isn't affected, but it's still their choice. If I was a man who did not want children, I would make sure I didn't have unprotected sex with women who were against abortion and not on reliable birth control. That is a choice they made that resulted in them becoming a parent.

They aren't reversible like vasectomies. That is literally what I said. Men and women who choose to have unprotected sex are consenting to conceiving a child. What they do with that is up to them. That is a conversation you should have before deciding to have sex with someone. Not the same. Vasectomies are reversible. And, the latter is ridiculously rare and not the point of ops post. My issue with this post is the "consenting to have a child". Say you were a small time farmer pre civil war. If you were adamantly against slavery, but then you have the chance to get a slave, so you take it because "well, the big plantations all have slaves. Not a straw man if you are pointing out hypocrisy. I would never tell either spouse to "take them to the cleaners and get as much alimony as you can". 1. They should have had a prenup 2. I don't care what alimony amount is paid to whoever. I think alimony in all cases is messed up and should not be a thing. I wouldn't disagree with the cause for your theory. I think that young women tend to date dickheads because many women have low self esteem because of depictions in media. When women are young, and dicks give them attention they date them. However, most women don't marry dick heads. They grow up, find confidence, and mature. The older women get, the better their dating habits.

Yes. That is beside the point. Many men and women avoid them, but women avoid them at higher rates because of the high risks of rape, assault, and kidnapping by sex traffickers. Not to mention the risks of being found by abusers. In my work, many women wont even take a care package or a hot meal from voulenteer on the street, but I have not had the same experience with men.

I used to volunteer with homeless people. There are many Homeless women. Homeless women are a lot less likely to show up in a documentary or put themselves anywhere publicly for safety reasons. Many are fleeing domestic violence, pimps, abusive families. Others are worried to disclose anything about where they stay for fear of being trafficked or assaulted. That is also why they are less likely to go to homeless shelters or soup kitchens. They worry about being followed.

You're rjght. Why be a feminist or a men's rights advocate. Neither actually want equality. They aren't egalitarian but both agree that they are

I think most people are against anyone getting groped without consent
/r/MensRights13/05/22 06:41 PM
1

My point is that it's a stripper thing. Not a men vs women thing. People who hate stripping and objectification are against men and women getting objectified and groped. People that are pro sexuality and pro stripping don't care if men or women get groped and strip.
/r/MensRights13/05/22 01:37 AM
-2

I think you are totally conflating things. Humans are split on strippers. Some are all for it. Some are super against it for men and women. This is a human thing. And more men than women support stripping as an industry. There are plenty of things that are unfair to men, but you don't get this one as a men's rights issue. Sorry. It doesn't make any sense.
/r/MensRights12/05/22 09:47 PM
-11

Both will go watch male stripper? Lmao, very few women even go to strip clubs. Go look at the rate of how many men vs how many women frequent strip clubs. Better yet, look at how many male strip clubs there are vs how many female strip clubs there are. I assure you, objectifying strippers is not even close to being primarily a woman thing.
/r/MensRights12/05/22 05:40 PM

You are claiming feminists are prosexual freedom and protested women stripping. Those two things don't work. I'll chalk this up to things that never happened
/r/MensRights12/05/22 02:32 PM

I've had one point this entire conversation. You just refuse to acknowledge it. I think men and women are fucked up and good and psycho and cool. People span the whole lot in pretty equal proportions. Probably 50-50 crazy and not for men and women. My problem is that you lump all women into crazy whores. I'm not a white night. I am a woman. I have real empathy for the shit men deal with. And the shit that women deal with. we often have different things that fuck us over. I hate feminists that de…

Very true. But surely saying 99.95 % of women are x and men are y is mysognist and misandtristic. That's my point
/r/MensRights29/04/22 01:06 AM
1

Crazy whore isn't even close the same as attraction. And you are way way off. That completely underestimates the percentage of gay men and asexuals And you never answered my question. Is saying 99.9 percent of men are assholes misandtristic?
/r/MensRights29/04/22 12:50 AM
2

That's my whole beef. That comment and the whore thing. These kinds of guys that post stuff like that make you whole movement look like a joke and make it look like it isn't about equality
/r/MensRights29/04/22 12:39 AM
0

Semantics.. everyone knows 99.95. means all. If a feminist said 99.95 percent of men are assholes, would that make them a misandrist?
/r/MensRights29/04/22 12:38 AM
1

It isn't a "gotcha". You're defending blatant mysogny. "All of 'x' sex is ___(insert negative trait)" is fucked up aimed at men or women. Nothing is all one or the other. This guy is spewing fucked up thinking and is no better than the feminists you love to hate. You hate when they do it to you. Be the bigger man and stop doing it to them too or you are no better This guy was fine until he started saying 99 percent of women are crazy whores. That's mysogny. If you can't see that..
/r/MensRights28/04/22 11:01 PM
0

I don't care how many are angels. This has nothing to do with what I said. I didn't say anything about men or women I said that your post is as bad as an extreme feminist misandrist post. You are doing the same thing as then as a mysognist. You are just digging deeper. Anyone who says "all men or all women" is a mysognist-misandrist and can't pretend to want equality
/r/MensRights28/04/22 09:26 PM
0

I didn't say that. What reality are in you in. I used that as an example of misandry that a feminist might use and I pointed out that what you said is exactly the same as what you just called misandry! Read it again
/r/MensRights28/04/22 09:25 PM

You're deflecting with off topic questions that I do not care about. Stay on topic for dicks sake
/r/MensRights28/04/22 08:48 PM

You are not a mysognist for stating facts. You are a mysognist for saying all women are evil whores I don't care. Stop deflecting
/r/MensRights28/04/22 08:47 PM

How?
/r/MensRights28/04/22 08:47 PM

Proving my point further. This group is not about men's rights anymore. Its been overtaken by people spewing blatant sexism while criticizing feminists for doing the same. I believe in humanism and you are both garbage
/r/MensRights28/04/22 06:55 PM
6

Bro. I'm not arguing any of that! I was literally just giving an example of misandry to compare with your mysogny. But that's for.proving my point further. Check your reading comprehension skills.
/r/MensRights28/04/22 06:52 PM
1

I said jack shit about men. Not a single misandtristic comment. You literally said all 99.9 percent of women are whores and crazy. That is mysogny. Wouldn't a feminist saying all men are rapists and emotionally void be misandry? These two things are the same and you are actively participating
/r/MensRights28/04/22 06:20 PM
2

Men can go their own way and fight for their rights, But many on here love to argue that this group as a whole is nothing like you. Your post was barely about domestic abuse. It was mostly you screaming about how awful women are. That and You saying 99 percent of women are evil whores is blatent misogyny
/r/MensRights28/04/22 05:50 PM

For those of you who always argue that this movement hasn't been infiltrated by incels and misogynists, here's is exhibit A ^
/r/MensRights28/04/22 05:22 PM

You really are not good at reading comprehension. I said the post is hypocritical. Not you. This whole comment chain, was me criticizing the post being hypocritical
/r/MensRights22/04/22 01:02 AM
1

Dude, are you fucking illiterate? I''m literally saying the opposite. I am saying that I do not care who has it worse. I'm saying that both femanist and people on mens rights are not humanists. If you are a humanist you are not a feminist or men's rights guy (a fancy name for masculinist). That is why this post is hypocritical
/r/MensRights21/04/22 11:21 PM
0

Again, you are on a tangent. This isn't at all what I am talking about. You both think you are oppressed or worse off or getting the shit end of the stick and fighting for equal rights. Is that not the point of men's rights activism? You both have a gender tied to your title. A humanist comes from the human perspective
/r/MensRights21/04/22 10:31 PM
0

I never said anything about any of that you are putting words in my mouth. I said "idealized feminism" and masculism. I am not arguing about who is more oppressed. My argument is that this post is hypocritical because neither a masculinist not femanist, be definition, is a true humanist. By definition BOTH the male and female version think they are the oppressed. I don't necessarily agree with either, but this is the po calling the kettle black
/r/MensRights21/04/22 10:03 PM
0

But, if you are allowed to advocate for men's rights then women can advocate for women's rights in an attempt to reach equality, didn't you just describe the ideal perfect example of feminism AND men's rights organizations. In a perfect world, that is the goal of both. However neither are humanists. They are masculinist and feminist. That distinction matters
/r/MensRights21/04/22 09:39 PM
-7

What you just described is literally the definition of a humanist. You can't have "men" or "women" or "mas" or "fem" in the title, if you claim to be for all. You are no better than a feminist. Its hypocritical
/r/MensRights21/04/22 08:44 PM

Not true. I'm a woman. I have the higher income and a ton of saving. The difference is that I'm not an idiot and my boyfriend will sign a separation agreement before we get married
/r/MensRights12/04/22 09:32 PM
1

Should have had a separation agreement. He was plenty wealthy to afford a lawyer. I didn't even have to ask, we were watching some silly reality tv and prenups came up, and unprompted, my boyfriend goes, "don't worry babe, I'll sign one". Man or women, for the more well to do person, marriage is betting half your shit that they won't cheat on you. I intend to be with my partner forever, but on the big if, I'd rather decide how we split things up when we like eachother, not if and when we don't.
/r/MensRights12/04/22 09:27 PM

Stop complaining and get prenups or separation agreements. Men and women both don't have to be treated that way.

/r/MensRights12/01/22 10:50 PM

More people should get prenups and separation agreements. All this silly "women complaining about equality" is not true. Just because most men don't get prenups like this woman tired to do and failed at, doesn't make it a women complaining issue. Nobody is stopping men from having a contract

A true feminist is calling for equal rights too. Certain groups MRA offshoots on the dark web advocate for enslaving women and MRA on there often have violent rhetoric and have led to the radicalization of teens who became mass shooters. They aren't the voice of MRAs. Feminazis are an offshoot of true feminism that advocates for equal rights. Feminazis are the minority as are the violent MRA, which there are many. I don't genuinely care about feminism or MR for that matter. There are actually very few things I care deeply about. I just don't like hypocrisy. I'll watch the video when I'm somewhere a video can load. On slow internet. Also, do you really "do your own research" or just parrot back YouTubers' opinions. I don't think most people who use that phrase know that actually goes into research
/r/MensRights23/10/21 07:12 AM

I didn't say it wasn't fair. I said it wouldn't prove your point. Ill make a point to make.that argument where it's pertinent there and see. I think you are missing a lot of MRA who do put who with misogynists. They comment here often and rarely get shut down or downvoted by other members
/r/MensRights22/10/21 05:17 PM

Pretty sure most people are horrified by this. There is a double standard, but this is a bad example
/r/MensRights22/10/21 02:08 PM

That's not a fair comparison. Literally everywhere I made this argument on MRA got like 40 downvotes, so a feminist page also downvoting it wouldn't prove your point.

It's not just two different sexes. They literally are the same in theory. Not necessarily in practice. Both are movements advocate for rights towards equality

This is fucked up. Men and women have also raped corpses and ate humans. What does this have to do with men's rights?
/r/MensRights22/10/21 06:21 AM

You're just equating two very different things. If this was the worst example you had, what are the others? This woman is not a dead beat parent by any sense of the word. She literally lives on the same block as her kids and let's them come and go as they please and spends every evening with them just like any working parent would.

/r/MensRights21/10/21 08:36 PM

Gender equality alone is egalitarian. When you're advocating for women in the pursuit of it, it's feminism. And MRA vice versa
/r/MensRights21/10/21 08:34 PM

No. Most person on the street you polled would probably say both feminists and MRA are toxic. That's why so few people identify with those groups
/r/MensRights21/10/21 08:33 PM
1

Elliot Rodgers was active on a men's liberation movement page, on an MRA page (maybe this one or Facebook), he frequently posted on a voice for men. And in Canada last year the Toronto shooting guy was on AVFM and Canadian association for equality which is a MRA group
/r/MensRights21/10/21 08:11 PM

What is your sample size? How many have you really talked to and where. Many people who come into contact with MRA would say the same thing if they talk to few enough of them and only ones actively arguing on their page. I actually am in several MRA and feminist groups and most of all of you are normal people with legit greviences about different things
/r/MensRights21/10/21 08:07 PM

You said you don't like the definition and are "throwing it out". You can't just do that. You can't make up what you think it is. That's what they do to all of you. Don't you get that
/r/MensRights21/10/21 06:37 PM
-2

Lol it's not self professed. That's the dictionary definition. You dont get to decide what a word means and people who claim to be feminists who want supremacy are not true feminists, just like the incel I saw on a MRA page last week advocating for "enslaving the femoid whores" isn't the stance of a real MRA
/r/MensRights21/10/21 06:34 PM

I disagree. I follow both types of pages. Feminists all say your fringe is the majority and you are all misogynists and you all say they are their fringe and all misandrists

MRAs and feminists are two peas in a pod with opposite views. Just like Dems and Republicans. You aren't listening to rational people on that side, your are only hearing the extreme. Look at the comments on any mens right post here and tell me there isn't a whole cancer of true misogynists in there commenting. See the discussion above. We just went over this. I'm making the case, from my experience, that it isn't as simple as women refusing to date less educated me. I have a PhD. My boyfriend has a high school diploma. I don't think I'm an anomaly except that many less educated men made it very hard to date them. When I was dating, many men would be totally normal until they found out I had a PhD and money, and then they acted weird. Got insecure, and tried to constantly prove how smart they were. I l…

Some groups have worse extremists than others. I will agree tho. Extremists feminists have just as bad of extremists at this page. Both are way worst than many many groups. It's hard to read a comment thread on here (or a feminist page) with out seeing a significant proportion of fucked up comments

The world is changing. Women and men graduate college at nearly equal rates now. Women make up nearly half of the work force. That just isn't true anymore. There are more career women now than ever. However, the most successful ones often end up single .a big part of that is the structure of society. See points above

I think it is a societal issue, you are right, and it can't be just easily shrugged off as being an issue with woman, or men for that matter. I'm proof of that. I'm a scientist and my partner works a blue collar machining job. I have a retirement account. He has his savings in a collector car that doesn't run, but we are equals as people and that's what matters. My story isn't unique. I have also heard from several women colleges that they experienced a lot of the same things I did in the dating…

No, it's because he's a really great person and a fantastic partner. Maybe just maybe the systemic issue is that a lot of men get insecure about women with money, and turn successful women off. maybe that's why successful women have higher rates of being single and men end up with less successful women and get fucked in divorces. I found quite a lot of the men I went on dates with got insecure about my career and money. I went out with lots of people less educated than me because I don't think e…

Unfortunately, I think it's because men's rights groups often get infiltrated with misogynists and it ends up hurting the people with real grievancs. Just look at some of the comments you get on men's rights posts that are totally reasonable. Then you get some dick bag yelling in all caps in comments about woman being man hating harpies that will steal your soul and ruin the message

Are you sure thats true for this study? You have to look only at people in the US, because that's where is was focused and you have to look only at people in the 25-50 age group because that's what was studied

Not true. Marriage benefits the one with the worst career and assets. Have a good personality and date up and you won't have this problem.

In the country this study was carried out in, it is currently illegal to have more than one spouse, so this in no way speaks to sharing. Go back to your incel forums with this crap. Edit: the study literally says spouse

The retoric on that site is often violent. You can't go on there for more than an hour and not run into people calling femoids whores and talking violently about women. To be fair, Almost every day you can see a post about "guys we really need to get violence off this site and call it out when we see it". That alone says 1. It is a serious problem in the community and 2. Not all incels are violent or condone it
/r/MensRights19/10/21 03:57 PM
1

Fair. It isn't the norm or at all a requirement. I was trying to point oout that, the people who have those more violent beliefs, who use language calling women subhumans, and who honor Elliot are generally black pilled and feel hopeless and it does drive a minority to honoring guys writing manifestos and shooting up colleges
/r/MensRights19/10/21 03:38 PM
2

Yes. I agree with everything you said. Its a self.proclaimed term. They do still allow color pill posts tho and usually the black pilled try to convince them it isn't worth it. But there are entire forums about how to become more attractive and "ascend" but generally frowned upon by the black pilled

You can type incels.net into a browser right now. It's there. There are also femcel sites. I was talking about this one

They use it in lots of communities. It's all based.on the matrix. One is believing the lie one is being superior and finding truth.. what I defined was how iIncels use it the terms. That's all.

I'm literally not.trying to be disingenuous. Just trying to explain what I see and I frequent the incel forums frequently. I'll post some tomorrow with links. Or just search bar "femoids" or "black pill" on incels.net. that's what I did

I'm not trying to be vague. Or even fight. I'm confused as to what I commented on. I'm just sharing a tidbit about incel terms and defining it. I'm not proclaiming anything new here. I'm also new to Reddit and where to comment and post is confusing and gets fucked up. What is "way up there?". My point was that I have spent a lot of time observing that community and i'm stating that if you want to see the dark side of inceldom look at the black pill posts or posts that call themselves black pill …

Google.it. new america.org red pill to black pill describes it really well. It came from the matrix. They go from blue (who incels call normies), to red ( incels superior to normies who realized the truth that sexually men are at the whims of women's power, and are men who go their own way), to black pill (change at a societal level is needed to put women in their place and elevate men because right now women are in control). This is how they are defined in incel communities
/r/MensRights19/10/21 02:19 AM

It isn't me. I didn't do this. They literally did it. Go on incels.net or any incel page and read for a while. It comes up all the time. they classify themselves based on pill colors. It's their thing they adopted. Don't shoot the messenger. I'm just sharing some incel knowledge. I spend a lot.of time on there out of morbid curiosity. It is absolutely violent and aggressive by like half or more of the users and that page is open access and not encrypted.
/r/MensRights19/10/21 02:14 AM

No, I'm specifically talking about the incel black pill. there are forums on this all over that community. Blue pill is the thought that you still have hope women will sleep with you one day. Incel black pill is accepting you don't want them and generally that they are lesser beings and subhumans

Black pill is a level of incels when an incel realizes women are the problem and they are better off. Usually with some kill women shit thrown in.

You are missing my point. Yes, more men work them. I said that no individual person has to do these jobs. Some people will always do these jobs. They will not go away, but we are not in the USSR. We have choice.. I choose a back breaking job. So does my sister. Some people prefer these jobs. If you don't want this job, don't do it. It isn't a rights problem. /r/MensRights12/10/21 03:27 PM

People will fill it or employers will make it more appealing. My point is that any individual man is not forced into manual labor. Sometimes life circumstances make it the most appealing job, but nobody in the first world if forced into it, so stop crying about it like it's a rights issue. Just do something else if you want to do something else. Sell cars if you hate brick laying. Work on a office. Just stop being a baby about it. We all have some choices in what we do professionally.

The legal definition of rape is not a male perp only crime. What chasm of your anus did you pull that bs from? Rape legally is, and I quote from the US department of justice “The penetration, no matter how slight, of the vagina or anus with any body part or object, or oral penetration by a sex organ of another person, without the consent of the victim."

More and more common everyday. Geology undergrads average about 50-50 nationally, women in construction goes up every year, increased by 18% in one year from 2018-2019. Remember, women couldn't work those jobs 50 years ago, so the overall numbers will be reflecting all the old people who still work those trades. For electricians for example, it's only 5 percent women overall but if you look at just new people entering the trade it goes up to 15%. It's going up all the time. The point tho, is nob…

I mean, I'm a geologist and commonly do back breaking work and lug bags of rocks out of canyons. Just think it's a dick move to generalize and say that women don't also do back breaking work, when both men and women can do back breaking work or not. Men also do fluffy office jobs sometimes. Women often go to war. I think your point is silly. the only reasonable point you have is about the draft which is unfair to men, and shouldn't have existed in my opinion,. In what context? I mean, all mutilation is fucked up, but what type of mutilation matters and can. Be debated. You could call a piercing mutilation. That verses removing a clit makes a difference. One could argue that the loss of sensation associated with removing a foreskin may or may not be equivalent to removing a clit.
