There was a thread on 2X shortly after it was defaulted where someone was complaining about a boy and his father "spying on her" with a drone at the beach. People were even going as far as saying she should have knocked the drone out of the sky or have intimidated the father/son.

Anecdotal evidence- but in my area most men go straight into the career fields after high school. I think a major contributor is the large percentage of men in the trade/vocational path.

I'm pretty sure most people, regardless of gender, who get out of a suffocating marriage would find casual sex refreshing. If anything, I'm wondering who the target audience of the article is. Is there a demographic of people out there in shitty marriages thinking to themselves, "hm, I wonder if the sex is better if I'm happy?"

Sad that this is the world we live in. And the author brought up an interesting point when he mentioned that he was an emergency service worker. Imagine if a doctor was forced to change seats because of this blatant sexism, and something happened to the kids, like an allergic reaction? "Is there a doctor on board?!?!" "I'm a doctor!" I think the schools trying to resolve these issues themselves is a disservice to both parties. They tend to have their own agendas, which tends to be the financial type, and will have a biased view. I'm sorry, did I say something to suggest otherwise? I'm very aware women rape as well, thus why I said 'he made a mistake when he singled out men rather than saying "the military"'.' Taking what he said at word value, he would be suggesting that only male military personel are using rape as a weapon of war, but I don't think that is accurate, unless there is any statistics about female military personel specifically anyone can share.

If its a college campus, there should be nothing stopping you from recording at least audio during a lecture. Many students do so and play the lecture back as a means of studying.

I wanted to say something along the lines of "It's refreshing to have a thread that isn't about how some feminist said something stupid" but it would be in bad taste considering how this ended. Maybe it's a biased opinion, but between all these police brutality threads on reddit and from what I've seen in my own city, there is something wrong with our police force. This should not be "standard procedure" for an unarmed individual without any evidence of prior wrong-doing.
