One way I try to help men is to donate to male-specific disease research. It should go without saying, but female-specific diseases, such as breast cancer, get GOBS of money thrown at them while prostate cancer, which has similar rates of occurrence and outcomes in men, gets peanuts. I have donated to prostate and testicular cancer research. I have the blue ribbon on my car. It's not as brave and overt as some other approaches, but I feel like it counts.
