Good post mate. I'm still in process of digesting TRP material. Even though the initial taste is bitter, just beginning with it made my life a lot better. It's time to wake up from faerie tales.

Find people you trust their intuition. Get the book recommendations from them. Go to amazon.com, read the reviews good and bad, and judge it for yourself. Getting a e-book reader (or your own computer / phone) will get you cheaper prices.. Most of the books in kindle store are around 7-10$. And it still supports the authors as opposing getting it free.

Mate, the moment you become comfortable to walk away from this relationship (I'm not saying walk away, but become comfortable with the idea), you will start to improve your relationship. Work on this, improve your financial situation, lift, spend more time with your kid etc... Work on yourself.
