Dang, I guess that makes sense though as Vancouver is probably much bigger than Irvine. I just always had this vision of Vancouver being like Irvine (mostly bc of that documentary on chinese immigrants), but sounds more like LA, with insanely rich areas and some poor areas. I think it adds character though, Irvine can be extremely dull at times.

Isn't Vancouver supposed to be one of the nicest/most expensive places to live? I grew up in Irvine which is also pretty expensive and nice, and people would probably go ape shit if there was any prostitution within the city.
