They reinstated registering with selective service in the US just before I turned 18. There was a prison sentence also attached to not registering. I registered. I also received a draft notice at 18 from the Norwegian military. I declared my American citizenship. Looking back I should have done the reverse.

Don't call cabs for people if it's not against store policy. It's a scam. They will take the ride and ditch before paying. All the taxi company knows is your phone number. I did it once from my shop. We were told it's 90 days jail per charge. They would be run concurrently and add up to 90 days of which realistically he would serve at most 30 days. According to the DA they said they wouldn't be surprised is the judge suspends the sentence and he serves no actual time only a year of probation. The DA is Hoping he at least gets the sex offender label and has to register. The whole court shit is a joke.
