The essay was written very good and I agree with OP, that some thing men "casually" do - like disagree with women - is labelled as "toxic masculinity". But it is still very uncommon and also labelled by the medias. But still there is in many places, in many houses and in many relationships men with toxic behavior, which can be named "toxic masculinity".
