| -9 | Why do men commit suicide more than women? also, why has no one directly addressed me about this when I was in adolescence.Men "commit" suicide more often than women, but women "attempt" suicide about twice as often. I've read that this is due to the manner in which men attempt suicide (plummeting off a ledge, hanging, gunshot) compared to the way women attempt suicide (pill-popping and wrist cutting).
