That doesn’t mean be complacent and don’t work to improve yourself. It means improve yourself because you want to improve for yourself. Try to grow toward someone that you want to be, not someone that you think women want you to be. If you want leg lengthening surgery, go for it. It’s your life. But I promise that it won’t be a silver bullet for your women troubles. It will just be an expensive, painful way to learn that maybe your height actually wasn’t the problem the entire time.

Exactly this. It’s hard for men to understand (and I’m not going to pretend I fully understand it all myself), but attraction for women just works differently than it does for men. First, like you said, they tend to look at the whole picture and account for things that go over a lot of guys’ heads. Second, there seems to be a lot more variation in what they like. Some women like muscular dudes, some like big soft teddy bear types, and others like their men to be rail thin. For some women, being …

Other than surfing and lifting, what’s something that interests you? Reading? Great, go to the bookstore to buy books and spark up conversations there. If you like any other sports, especially team sports, look for some adult coed league to play in. The key is that you’re doing things that you like and if you meet someone while doing them, awesome. You’re not going to the bookstore to meet women, you’re going to browse books and if you happen to meet a woman there, great. You’re not joining the …

I recently met a friend of a friend. We went to this live event and I saw him talk to a handful of women where started out by saying something like “so do you like [something related to the event we were at]?” A couple of people that were with our group gave him shit for it. Like, of course they like it, that’s why they’re here. But in the few times I’ve been around this guy, he’s gotten into more conversations, gotten more numbers, and hooked up with more women than any guy I’ve seen.

Idk if this is an exact definition, but basically that people consider “literature” that didn’t come out within the last 50 years. The subject matter is pretty wide ranging so “Classic” could mean anything from Pride and Prejudice to One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. For a personal recommendation, one of my favorite books of all time is East of Eden by John Steinbeck. Depending on what your native language is, you might even find some classics that were first written in your language and later tr…

I’ve learned that good looks help to get your foot in the door. After that, being attractive to a woman is 95% attitude and personality. I’ve seen female friends fawn over some dude across the bar that they thought was super hot but then, after talking to him for 5 minutes, come back completely disgusted. I also have a male friend who doesn’t have a lot going in the looks department but is literally the most genuine and charismatic person I know. His best friend, on the other hand, is a very att…

Some are receptive, some aren’t. No one was mean tho. This is something that took me a long time to learn and then a longer time to truly internalize. I’ve only approached a woman once who was outright rude about it, but she ended up finding me 10 minutes later, apologized, and explained that she was super stressed about something that has nothing to do with me. I still didn’t end up with her number or anything, but it taught me a valuable lesson: if someone is rude or mean, it has nothing to do…

Do you get wet every time you’re horny? Have you ever gotten wet (or heard of other women who do) without any stimulation, physical or mental? It’s the same way with men and erections. We have control over a boner the same way we can control a sneeze. Yeah there are ways to suppress it (for a sneeze) or try to get rid of it (for a boner), but we don’t have full control over it the same way we do over other parts of our body. If we did, there wouldn’t be such a huge market for drugs like viagra.

Agreed, but notice you used the word “fight”. Full control would be having a choice. You have control over a boner the same way you have control over a sneeze.

inappropriate to point out I mean if he gestured toward it or made it more obvious, I could see where you’re coming from. But no one is saying to do that. We’re just saying that OP shouldn’t be ashamed of it because it’s something men have literally no control over.

Everyone can benefit from diet and exercise, no matter how in shape or out of shape they are. A self defeatist attitude like the one you have now will hurt your chances with women more than looks or personality.

Dude, you're 5' 5". Shorter than average? Sure, but that's not even that short. You're talking like your 4' 8" with a penis growing out of your forehead and a ballsack out of your chin. I'm 5'10 so I can't relate to the height thing, but I started losing my hair at a young age. By the time I was in my early 20s, I was very obviously balding. Do you know how defeating it feels when the bouncer at the second bar on your 21st birthday jokes that your ID is fake, because you're 'clearly older than 2…

In cases where they don't respond, I'll usually say something like "Oh so-and-so, this is so us. Me doing all the talking and you just sitting there, looking cute". For times when you don't respond for weeks, I've seen people make up silly excuses like "Hey sorry I was in the shower", but that depends on your sense of humor.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
