The solution is reform and equality (which we know they don't want). Both parties should be treated as 'the man' and both are liable for themselves and any family left. I'm all for pointing out the inconsistencies between how the sexes are treated in the US Justice system but this one doesn't seem like it belongs here. 3 of the students were 18+ so while unethical - it's not illegal.
