Running a game or not it is HIM. Is it weird for people to learn etiquette and perform their best? Obviously he is smooth as F.. But even if he were using his game techniques on you. You are falling for an authentic HIM. Game is all about etiquette and understanding social situations.. People may view them as tricks and discount himself but remember that you are falling for the GENUINE by himself. So don't care about that too much.
