Thats a tough question. Honestly, I think in might be because women are either brought up conservatively and have weird expectations or their mothers were involved in feminism when ist was still a good cause. Because those have been participating in the protests and are therefore strongly emotionally involved, the cannot Imagine that men have really issues too. You know, they have been internalising that men are in a Stronger position and now being asked to accept that they Need to rethink that …

Me. Lol. No for real, especially for the 60‘s generations it’s hard to accept that there are a lot of men‘s issues and YES sjw are a Great Problem but there are younger women who try to understand and getting there wont get easier if all Kinds of feminism are being doomed here

So... being against circumcision that is on the rise in Africa again is no valid reason for feminism? Or abortions being illegal in huge parts of south-america? I do not think it’s fair of you to judge what makes my kind of feminism valid.

I (F) would say, it depends on the feminist. There still are People who call themselves feminists because they want to Support equality for ALL. Although I know how many women have opinions that I do not agree with, discussions are the only way to coexist in the long run. Just like in every kind of political of societal Diskussion you should always put your mental health first though because it can be frustrating. Extreme feminists are NOT feminists to me Even though they say so because they tru…

Yeah attention is nice every one in a while and I think men should get more of it! But if there’s someone you really don’t feel comfortable with and they say stuff like that it’s really creepy. Like, old PE teacher-style. It’s just gross.

Yeah just like that post is framing a narrative

You’re right we don’t. Since it’s on Relationship advice I guess we can’t help her if she’s lying so I agree with the person beneath, we can always be wrong. But because we don’t know any more I tried to imagine how I’d feel if my partner accused me of cheating just out of the blue you know? Like ey, of course she can be a crazy b**** hunting for child support but I simply didn’t see a reason to assume and then post it here

Sorry for the delay I get that. Nothing wrong there. But if they work the same job with equal conditions, pay needs to be equal. And there are jobs like care workers who need to be better paid. Where I live, the people who take care of trash are way better paid than them and I think they both do work others wouldn’t want to do. Just happens to be a female dominated work space

Help me out here, I went to read the post and don’t see how it’s discrimination. They broke up because he accused her of cheating. He then told her he wanted to be involved but cut all contact. She agrees to take the test and wants to enable him to be involved which he wanted. Also says she won’t force him if he doesn’t want to but just wants to get this clear. Don’t wanna be overlooking the problem so please tell me if there’s one

I just think it’s neither. It’s society‘s problem and we all need to address it together. There still are problematic patriarchal structures as well as feminists who try to suppress men. Both suck.

Not necessarily . I want the income to be high enough to be independent from a partner if needed. Your grandmother sounds great and I’m glad it worked out for her but there’s no reason why she shouldn’t have earned more except for less money for the CEO. Yeah one earns more in a different factory, that happens but I don’t get how that is related to my point that all genders should be paid well in essential working fields

Hard work should be supported. Yes. And it’s mostly men doing physically exhausting Labour. It’s important work and as such it’s good that it’s paid well. But essential working fields that happen to be dominated by women should be paid that well too. Because no one who is working a full time job should be dependent on someone else, no matter the gender. Whoever is doing the job should be well-paid and if they are paid differently for the same work that’s fucked up. I don’t care if someone decide…

So first of all YOU should be putting more thought into your argument next time like trying to understand what you reply to. And make it easier to read while you’re at it. But how is me putting less thought into it gonna help? I understand there’s a lot of hate on the sub and yes it’s problematic. But when ppl struggle they sometimes go on a rant which should be taken into consideration. When I said you should think about it the other way around you were meant to just imagine how furious feminis…

So that means you can’t criticize anyone anymore just because he’s a Jew? So first of all that’s stupid because it means you can’t say anything about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict even though I am pretty sure Palestinian war victims do have a lot of victim points. And now think about what you’re doing by saying we cannot criticize Zuckerberg BECAUSE he’s a Jew. It means you want to treat him differently BECAUSE he’s a Jew. Rings a bell? Lastly, if you ignore that her comment is stupid af it s…

Just try to imagine it the other way around, men blaming women for a failure of democracy. Ain’t fair huh? This sub tends to overreact but that is to be expected due to lots of emotions. What is wrong with you, let ppl express what bothers them. That’s literally what this place is for

Definitely radical, there’s a huge difference between feminists. It’s fair to say it was childish and shitty to do this ranking but blaming men for something unrelated is either extreme or blatantly stupid, probably both

I know this is supposed to be humor and I absolutely think we need to consider the father’s living standards, this is misrepresentation. My mum got main custody and was lucky my grandparents would help her out. I am happy she worked halftime because we needed this family time. You need money for the children. It’s important to see the other parenting part, my dad is great and he did his absolute best but we needed this extra money. I’m sure there are irresponsible mums too and I feel for dads cu…
