3	What are some thoughts on this statement? I think it's frankly too vaguely defined to be a term that's particularly useful in discourse. It winds up being inflammatory rather than being a useful tool for conveying ideas. If I were forced to define it, I'd say it's a collection of toxic traits that tends to be common in men of a given culture or subculture. Where I'm from, emotionlessness is a great example. 11	What are some thoughts on this statement? I generally think that gender roles are largely socially manufactured. No reason a man can't have "traditionally feminine" traits, or a woman can't have "traditionally masculine" traits. This person sounds like they think young boys would benefit from being exposed to less toxic masculinity, which I'm all for. Positive masculinity exists though; as does toxic femininity.
