Funny how the government never lacks the time, energy, or resources to prosecute people for victimless crimes like smoking pot...

Yeah...no. Between work and raising him, I don't have time, nor the energy to jack with all of that. then they're gonna get away with it AND traumatize ANOTHER little boy tomorrow. You need to create a better world for your grandson.

"See, Son? This is a crazy person who feels the need to harass others because their own life is empty and unfulfilling."

"weird for a man to be at a park where children might be nearby" "Unless that's a crime, why are you bothering me? I won't comment further without a lawyer present, so either place me under arrest for 'being an adult male in a public park'....or go away and leave me alone."

I'd be filing a formal complaint against these cops and possibly a lawsuit. There is NOTHING suspicious about a grandpa spending time with his grandson. The fact that the cops opening line was "got any ID" and not "Hello sir, we got a call, we're just here to ask a few questions" proves that the cops had already made up their mind that you had done something wrong before they knew ANY of the facts. I'm tired of people losing their rights just because some anonymous asshole picked up a telephone …

If there was a major natural disaster and society collapsed, what skills can these chicks offer besides being a walking uterus? Can they at least grow vegetables or something???

People get longer sentences for possessing small amounts of drugs, for fuck's sake!!! These guys should be pissed that the court is only valuing their ruined future at 6 months each. These guys had to drop out of school and now the path their lives will take has been irreversibly altered. She literally ruined their lives and she's only getting 6 months in jail per ruined life.

There are people who have gotten longer prison sentences for simply possessing drugs. This woman made an active attempt to ruin 2 innocent lives using the legal system as a pawn and she won't even miss 2 Christmases. I don't understand the message the legal system is trying to send to the public.

I cant imagine being in prison for as long as I have been alive. To be honest, I'd probably just kill myself if I was looking at a 35-year prison sentence.

CT, 14 years ago. A bit of weed and a single ecstasy pill they found it in his pants pocket, but charged us BOTH because "you're both on the lease". Constructive Possession laws are an unfair bitch. Apparently I have to frisk my roommate every time he comes home or I run the risk of being charged for something he brought into the house without my knowledge or consent.

I was once threatened with 12 years in prison for a $50 drug stash that belonged to my college roommate.

It would be less pathetic if she just said "I'm desperate for attention right now".

Exactly - she was totally uninvolved...until she inserted herself into the situation purely for financial gain.

I know people who have gotten longer prison sentences for victimless drug possession.

Why are we trying to put people in jail with no evidence beyond someone's word????

If it wasn't for this video, the guy could have been sent to prison based on nothing but her words.

This was 10+ years ago and she inexplicably only got a year of probation, which is obviously LONG over. I have had no contact with her since then. I don't even know if she's still alive.

Yes, she confessed to lying and she was even prosecuted for filing a false police report.

, and paternity test your kids I have a title for my car and a deed for my house. I even get a receipt when I buy groceries!!! So why wouldn't I want hard proof for something as life-changing as a child????

I once got falsely accused of rape, but luckily for me, the girl was stupid enough to leave me a voicemail admitting to lying about it, so I was never actually charged.

Shit, I'd wanna know if a habitual drunk driver was living in my neighborhood, but there is no "registry" for DUI, oddly.

This is the type of shit that would spur me to vigilante justice - when the ENTIRE SYSTEM CLEARLY DEMONSTRATES THAT I CANNOT TRUST IT, why would I continue to operate within that system???

I'm a 36-year-old man. If I had ANY sort of sexual contact with an 11-year-old girl, I'd be in prison until I was an elderly man.

Only 1 year for raping an 11 year old? I know people who have served longer jail sentences for possessing small amounts of weed!!!!

Don't steal random packages because you have no idea what is in them and thus, have no idea if you are committing a felony or a misdemeanor

Dumb ditch didn't even know what she was stealing. She had no idea she was setting herself up for a grand theft charge.

If my high school girlfriend popped up and said I'd got fresh with her, there is literally nothing I could do to defend myself besides deny it and pray that people believe me. How are you supposed to prove or disprove something like that, especially many years after the fact???

I once got a longer sentence for possessing a small amount of drugs in my own home. He blows my mind that I could have raped a bunch of children and spent less time in prison.

It is fucking terrifying that your whole life can be fucked up based on nothing but somebody's unproven claims. Like, anyone can say anything. If I accuse the Queen of England of molesting me, are the cops going to detain her for hours until they figure out my story is bullshit?
/r/PussyPassDenied01/07/19 09:07 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
