Fuck up a teenagers life for hitting a drunk dude who literally asked for it? That's fucking stupid. You can throw the mental illness argument out there, but it's not like disabled people have no accountability for their actions. And yes, so do teenagers, but assault? I don't know if you people realize how that can really cut her life down at the knees before it even starts. It's not a net-positive for society to do that.

Some people are just too dense to be reasoned with I guess.
/r/PussyPassDenied03/12/15 12:03 PM

Ok. Tell that to a court of law. "But they started it and I only threw a beer as a warning!" You people are children.
/r/PussyPassDenied02/12/15 07:03 PM

My issue was with the title calling throwing a beer a "warning shot". What are you not understanding here?
/r/PussyPassDenied02/12/15 01:18 PM
-4

No, i'm not. In what universe is throwing your drink on someone a "warning shot"? Sorry I don't join the circle jerk, but that doesn't mean I am "white knighting".
/r/PussyPassDenied02/12/15 10:15 AM

"Beer tossed as a warning shot" Umm...more like "Beer tossed to escalate the situation".

Yes, the decision being overturned is a real danger. I was merely speaking hypothetically. In the real world the man made the safe bet.

So how does this not apply to EVERY scenario? Some 18 year old dude knocks up another 18 year old girl. She wants to keep it, and he doesn't. Under this same logic shouldn't she be forced to give it away for adoption or at the very least shouldn't the guy be absolved of any responsibility of the child?

I am in IL too, but only in my adult life. I guess for me I figure 17 being legal makes it so anyone I would normally come into contact with is fine, but maybe not for you. shrug I still think it's weird to check ID. lol

If you happen to be in a state with the age of consent being 18 and no close age law, sure. But plenty of the states don't have those conditions. And even more of the WORLD has more relaxed age of consent laws. And if you're in a bar I'd say you're fairly safe anyway. Just use some common fucking sense.

After reading the article it seems like she wasn't trying to pin rape on anyone, but to just say she had been raped to get away with infidelity. That isn't as bad as accusing someone of rape. This should fall under wasting the time of police officers; not falsely accusing someone.

Have you ever tipped a cute waitress or bartender more because she's cute? Tips rarely get fully reported. Tax evasion is a "boost" in income as well. How much of the workforce is a "tipped" job in the U.S.? Just another thing to think about.

I am so sick of these posts. Do we really have to have a lengthy discussion about the age of consent every time this comes up? Let me give you the TL;DR Most people think peoples' lives shouldn't be ruined for consensual sex with 16+ year olds. People still want the law enforced equally between the sexes while the law exists. There. She got the punishment a man would have gotten; the punishment is still unjust.

/r/PussyPassDenied09/07/15 06:21 AM

Wait....lack of self control over perfectly valid feelings (according to you) makes you a sick fuck? Come on now. It's a failure of society to be locking people up for consensual sex with 16+ year olds.
/r/PussyPassDenied08/07/15 05:43 AM
3

Go up to Canada and ask if the age of consent of 16 is fucking up teenagers. I've talked to women (on reddit) from Canada who seem pretty content with the older men they fucked when they were 16.
/r/PussyPassDenied07/07/15 10:20 PM

I am well into my adult years. I think at this point I can realize how stupid I was at any stage of my life. I don't think something should be illegal because someone thinks it's "icky"; even if the majority of the population thinks that way. Show me strong evidence that safe consensual sex will consistently screw up 15-17 year olds and I would then support it being illegal. Otherwise we should not be ruining peoples' lives over it.
/r/PussyPassDenied07/07/15 04:12 PM
6

"Thinking you claim the capacity isn't equivalent to actually doing so." Hint: Lots of 15-17 year olds have sex and it doesn't screw them up. Me and lots of people I know are included in this group. You're just repeating yourself now so I think there is nothing left to discuss. At least you seem to (barely) think people maybe shouldn't be sent to prison over something like this.
/r/PussyPassDenied07/07/15 03:52 PM
2

Well, not everyone is going to agree with you on that one. Most 16 year olds are pretty far along in puberty, right? I mean at least a large portion of them are. The mental development is another thing, sure. I still believe they might posses the ability to consent to sex. I know I sure did at that age, and lots of governments seem to agree. Hell, even some U.S. states have the age of consent at 16.
/r/PussyPassDenied07/07/15 03:42 PM
4

You're being dramatic and making "absolute" statements that clearly are not true 100% of the time. A large part of the "Western" world allows 14 year olds to consent to sex. Sooo....according to you a lot of people must be "pretty sick fucks" I guess. Edit: Alexis Ren started doing this kind of modeling when she was 17 I believe. I don't know if she was 17 in this particular image, but she definitely was not over 18 and I doubt she looked much different at 17. You're saying she isn't attractive?…
/r/PussyPassDenied07/07/15 03:28 PM
10

Yeah, like I said....fire them then.
/r/PussyPassDenied07/07/15 02:48 PM
7

Sure. I guess we might disagree on what taking advantage of a minor means though. Hell, I can think of a few teachers I wouldn't have minded hooking up with when I was 15. I really don't think it would have damaged me. No victim no crime, right?
/r/PussyPassDenied07/07/15 02:31 PM
12

Eh....so if it's a teacher or something then fire them. I still don't think it condones imprisoning them unless it was something like, "give me sex for good grades". Even then I think firing is still maybe enough. Your career is over. That makes life pretty tough. Like I said...I am very anti-prison right now.
/r/PussyPassDenied07/07/15 02:06 PM
20

Yep. The fact 1% of the U.S. adult population is in prison is making me very anti-prison for anything below rape/murder/major theft. P.S. I don't think sex with a consenting 15 year old is rape unless you can prove they were emotionally manipulated. Even that can be dicey because you know the parents/prosecutors will bully/manipulate the young person into testifying as such. Edit: The major criminals don't even see prison most the time. Oh, you did some sort of financial crime to earn X amount o…

Uuummmm.... I am anti-imprisonment. The U.S. has enough people in prison. 1% of the adult population and counting. I don't think a 15 year old (of either gender; but especially male) will be "messed up" from some consensual sex. Is that clear now?

/r/PussyPassDenied17/06/15 05:47 AM
-18

Right. Well I disagree with them when it comes to men and women. I would have a similar feeling if the roles were reversed. Although I have been conditioned by society to expect women are less likely to seek sex so part of me thinks a 15 y.o. girl is more likely to be "messed up" by it. But ya know what? Most women I know (if the subject ever comes up) started at that age or younger. Of course I have known some that started later too. This is all just anecdotal.

I think the age of consent laws are kind of dumb in the U.S. It ranges from 16-18 by state. It should probably be 16 everywhere. That is how it is Canada and lots of European countries. I know I was getting blowjobs when I was 13-14. I found a couple of my mom's friends attractive. Nothing ever happened, but I would not have been messed up if it did. What's the most popular genre of porn on every single website. Teen. By far. Someone is "sick" if they want to fuck a 17 year old, but suddenly she…

I think a good lawyer could argue that the more reasonable response would be to back away. He got up in her face which prompted her spitting on him. Maybe a big scary black man getting in her face made her feel threatened. That would be enough to legally shoot him in some states.
