Any argument you can make against feminism can be made in good faith against MRAs as well. Every feminist I’ve met is about equality. They see the most extreme MRAs and assume that’s every MRA. But the truth is that the normal average every day members want the same thing. Feel free to waste your energy on fighting the feminists based on the actions and beliefs of the most extreme minority of them. Most of them just want equality though so that’s what you’ll be fighting

Except real feminism (not the extreme bits) is about equality. So by stacking feminism as a whole…

So instead of focusing on equal rights you focus on specific bringing down feminism?

MRAs and feminists are the same coin but different faces. Most from both groups want the same thing, but the extremists from each side make us fight each other rather than the the power structures actual responsible for our hard ship

True, and women tend to have longer hair requiring more hair products. But even so I don’t see why the women’s products are more expensive. It seems in most cases the women are going to be buying more of certain products anyway (like shampoo and conditioner), so they are already spending more as is. Also, while they may have differences, it not that much different. I mean means deodorant is good enough for most women.

Well the thing is though there is a very real difference in price between some gendered products. Things like shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, even soaps and body washes can be more expensive for women. And yet a lot of times the men’s products still smell better for some reason. I’ve definitely met women who buy Old Spice specifically because it’s cheaper than most women’s deodorant (and also it smells good but that’s secondary to the price).

The OG comment had nothing to do with cops except the bit about impersonating a police officer. The hell you on about?

No he won’t. Trump literally tried to overthrow the government via coup. Trump could promise unicorns shitting rainbows and the American people still won’t forget his traitorous betrayal.

Ya know, honestly simply McGee here pisses me off more than the entitled woman. Neither is great but at least the woman has the excuse of not being a man and therefore has the excuse of not understanding men (not a good excuse mind you but still). Whereas Simpy here just is just reinforcing stereotypes and the entitled attitude, and should know better. Like dude wtf. Is he an incel or friendzoned hard on this girl? Like what’s his deal here?

Not sure if stay away from women is the right take away here. But rather be fully aware of both your privilege and disadvantages you have in society, the law, etc in regards to your sex and sexuality. And tangentially understand the dangers you may face in the dating world, as well as the dangers your potential partners may face. Be aware so you can protect yourself and also avoid anxiety in the other party.

So republicans don’t want equality between men and women? Got it.

“Right cause only men can keep the world running” Obviously not the point, women could too. However, the current way it’s set up has mainly men working the jobs needed to keep the world running. Truckers are mostly men, police are majority men, accountants, bankers, IT people, all essential jobs needed to keep the world turning and all are majority men. Yes they all have women doing those jobs too, and that’s awesome and we should strive for more of that. But right now there just simply isn’t en…

The US military includes men and women (albeit more men than women) and is a volunteer army. If you don’t want to fight a war then don’t join up. Not saying I support fighting wars Willy nilly, but defending our allies is a good use of the military.

Yes, the US plans to defend its allies. This isn’t a gender issue at all, it’s called international relations.

That actually sounds like a decent system. How was it style to our women first?

Fully agree. We should ALL be for an individuals sexual freedoms and rights. With abortion out of the way, homosexuality and “deviant” sex acts (as in literally anything besides M/F missionary) are probably on the chopping block next. Roe V Wade also carried a number of privacy protections with it too.

Oh lord. Why not just offer EVERYONE an additional 12 sick/PTO days a year? You could even make clear the additional PTO is so employees have extra time for periods, mental health days, etc. There I just turned a sexist policy into something that benefits everyone equally.

So I understand why she’s mad and resentful. I don’t understand why that is aimed specifically at men. Everything she described was religion and society, not men as a whole. What?

1) I think you brought up some good points already. I would maybe also mention that: -the saying is literally “Kill ALL men”. If they don’t mean ALL then they shouldn’t say all. And that you do take that literally because it is not an ambiguous saying. -It is the same as other sayings against women or other races (which you mentioned) and the facts those other groups were previously oppressed doesn’t mean it’s ok for them to be bigoted or oppress others. Men are not responsible for the actions o…

The part of this that pisses me off is how the idiot just jumped to the conclusion the smart one was defending pedophilia and that men are all attracted to children. Never mind that the bars are 18+ or 21+ and that they are drunk and that the children are purposely going out of their way to look older to even gain access or that the fact that the bar should be a place where you can safely assume everyone is an adult.

Holy shit that thread is actually cancer. There was a few comments explaining how that tweet was wrong and alienating, and they all got downvoted. Half the comments were making fun of men for getting offended at that tweet. Like no shit it’s both sexist and racist. I get that white men are probably the least oppressed of any demographic, and are way over represented in government and positions of power, but that doesn’t mean it’s ok to be racist or sexist towards us.

Well I’ve got a loving girlfriend who treats me like an equal instead of a piece of meat so I’d say pretty swell. How about yourself?

As I guy I’ve never really thought about it this way but the more I do think about it the more it makes sense. I’m tired of the fucking “gender war” (as my mom called it) like we are all human beings. I get that women were actively oppressed in the past and even still are in some more subtle ways but that being said so are men. Obviously we shouldn’t forget the past but we need to move on by lifting each other up instead of tearing each other down (same could be said for race related issues but …

I don’t agree with everything you say here but you are definitely spot on about the men’s issues. Next time you have an interaction like this bring up the fact that: Men face issues that women don’t, ie family court discrimination, are more likely to get sentenced for a crime and likely to serve longer sentences, are the only ones that can legally get drafted, are the only class that doesn’t get special protections, male sexual assault victims are taken even less seriously than female ones, men …

This^ I just recently got into a relationship for the first time in years and holy shit I forgot how much emotional support can help your mental state. I was fine without a relationship and would survive and continue on without one, but with a partner who’s emotionally supportive I’m definitely in a better emotional state than I was before.

I agree that women don’t owe their husbands sex at any time (and the reverse is also true) but why wouldn’t you want to? Sex is awesome and if you don’t want to regularly jump the bones of your partner then something is definitely wrong in your relationship

So maybe I’m missing context but wouldn’t this not count as rape? Sounds like he consented but just didn’t remember due to tiredness. Not trying to start Shit I’m just genuinely curious as to why this would be bad other than him just not remembering?

My first girlfriend and I would fight over who GOT to pay. We were both poor teenagers we just didn’t want the other to have to pay. Damn near almost got tackled when I went to pay for her quesadilla.

“Once a decade” And here I thought the 10 month dry spell of 2018 was a long time without sex. Also I can understand her not doing the house chores if she was the breadwinner and he was a stay at home dad, but sounds like they both have careers and she refuses to actually do anything. like at least do half the chores.

The literal definition is “sexual feelings directed towards children” Now you tell me in what world is a 13 yr old not a child?
/r/MensRights03/12/18 11:55 PM

Pedophilia is literally an adult doing sexual shit to a child. 13 years old is still a child, 20 is an adult. Hell if he was 16 then maybe it wouldn’t be due to the age gap, but 13, yeah it’s pedophilia.

I agree with the poster. I think you should be allowed to dress as you please. If a girl wearing tight clothing distracts you from getting a decent education then you got what you deserved. People do and wear shit that’s distracting in the real world, learn to properly deal with it or else you’re gunna have a hard time irl.

I seriously hate the term “Mansplaining”. If a man has a legitimate reason for doing the things he does, then he’s not “mansplaining”, he’s explaining why he’s doing it. For example, if a woman asks a dude why he sits with his legs spread slightly apart, he will tell her about how testicles are extremely sensitive and applying pressure to them is uncomfortable. However if he’s an asshole and tries to explain away his assholeness, then he’s not mansplaining, he’s just an asshole.

Well sure, men benefit from women's labor. It's also true that women benefit from men's labor. It's called an economy and it's the backbone of society.

I graduated from public school fairly recently (2016) and I can tell you as a fact that neither of those things are true.
