Being physically attractive doesn’t automatically make you a desirable partner. No, but it gives people easy access to your other traits, and it's the very first thing that people look at. You can have a good income, an ability to communicate etc, but if you're not attractive you won't get that much attention, it's just the way it is for both men and women.
