Aw thank you! I'm really glad someone else who struggles with this block chimed in 🩷 you sound like you really stepped up in that regard and are doing wonderful. I really hope it goes well for you moving forward 💞

I am not a cook, I am a mother :) I'm feeding myself, my husband and my baby. There is nothing wrong with following recipes. It's this sort of mindset that I believe contributes to an overwhelming feeling. Keep it simple. Keep it grounded.

Oh yes, I rarely cook anything complicated! I like to focus on well balanced (protein + carb + veggies) and well seasoned :)

I agree having staples is really great! My personal goals in learning to cook was to try a variety of meals since I get sick of flavors really easily :) still have my go tos though.

No, don't include it. I would read about high n count in the sidebar. Chances are a lot of men won't ask at all, but in case they do you will just have to keep your girl game strong.

Thank you so much :) we say she's like the little puzzle piece our family didn't know we were missing!

Skincare and haircare are two things I try to prioritize looks-wise. I like to get my skincare advice from the ladies over at r/asianbeauty. Asian skincare is more focused on that hydrated glass skin look which I find is trendy in the west now. Even my husband notices when I'm on top on my skincare and will comment I look glowy! For hair I would get a cut and color that really works with your features. The stylist should be able to help out with that since they went through color theory in schoo…

Thank you so much, I really appreciate your words :) I was so happy when I found this community. It has really helped me embrace my desire to be a supportive partner (when everywhere else seems to tell you to be dominant).

In that situation I'd use the method I mentioned before of expressing your desires (I love when we talk on the phone, it makes me feel so loved, or telling him I miss him and talking to him makes my day something like that) and then when he does deliver on it I would show how pleased I was, being flirty, playful and full of good energy. I would tell him how nice it was to talk more. That's worked for me in the past :) if it's really ingrained in him and he just won't ever become a texter/caller …

Yep lol, men especially! I definitely think if you have an emotional need you should bring it up to your partner. Your partner should want to support you and nurture the relationship as well, men and women just do that in different ways is all.

It's hard. I do think a lot of it would depend on what the issues are. Some feelings are honestly petty and if you just sleep on it will cease being an issue, other times it'll be something larger and you'll want to bring it up so it doesn't fester. This is honestly something I just had to learn myself. I used to complain about every little thing to my husband, and that wasn't very feminine true (like I'd constantly bring up how he didn't pick up the clothes, how messy he was when he cooked etc)…

Well that's the nature of things. People will all have different advice to give you and you have to pick what resonates. I brought up some common rpw advice (bring your problems not solution, there should be posts about it). If you're utterly lost you can check out the pinned post on this subreddit that leads to the detailed advice posts. That would probably be easier to start with rather than crowd sourcing advice. I've been married several years now and my relationship has only improved with o…

Bring your partner your problems, not the solution. Communicating your feelings in a mature fashion is not masculine. What you want to avoid is insistent nagging or venting so much you end up the opposite of a safe place to land (as in know the time and place to communicate your feelings. Come to him when there is peace, not when he's just gotten home from a rough day at work for example). I believe Lauren doyle recommended stating things with 'i wish...' or 'it would be nice to...' the key bein…

I'm assuming the baby is already named? What will you do if he doesn't actually commit? Him choosing you 'showing how traditional you are' is a goalpost he can easily continue to push back. It's not a goalpost at all really, just an abstract concept. Does he completely 100% satisfy the role of a traditional husband? Or is this one sided?

Yeah. I've been around a few years on different accounts and noticed an uptick in people equating RPW to tradcons and missing a lot of nuances. It's a big pet peeve of mine honestly(not that op did this at all just to clarify!).

Traditional and RPW have some overlap, but are not equal. A RPW focuses on her role as a first mate to her husband's captain. A support role essentially. Taking the red pill means you believe in the inherent difference of the sexes (women are more nurturing, men are more aggressive for example). The main difference is how traditionalists and RPW define the woman's role. Traditionalist believe women's work is the home and children, RPW is a lot more lenient as being a supportive first mate can en…

RPW do not ban feminists from participating. This is a toolbox and anyone can benefit from it. You do sound overly aggressive and not pleasant at all.

Starting the pill did exasperate my depression symptoms (it eventually leveled out but took a couple of months). It's not creating a depression disorder where there was none prior though. There isn't a guarantee changing bc methods will solve the mental issues. I'd talk to your doctor about that.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
