I get catcalling makes people uncomfortable and I agree to an extent (inappropriate lewd comments) but a "wow" or "damn" are fine to me. But in another thread about this a poster said people randomly complimenting looks is creepy because it reduces them to just their physical appearance. This line of thinking is way too negative for me. Anyone else tired of good intent and innocuous comments being degraded by people "claiming x reduces y" or "ackshually z is bad because <reading too deep into a …

I've seen some men hate on there before unrelated to misogyny but giving it another glance it looks pretty cleaned up.

As a 5'8" gay man I appreciate short guys when I go to uh... treat them down there. Everything lines up just perfectly :^)

You still don't understand, the subreddit is literally agreeing with you when they post these pictures replacing men with jew etc: "if the result sounds like it could be right out of Mein Kampf, you should probably reconsider your social justice blogging habits."

Hey since I saw you post in one of the threads I think you are mistaken about the point of that particular subreddit. If it were actually racist/sexist it would have been deleted long ago. They replace words in the picture to show how hypocritical the original poster is. Read the "About Community" and you'll understand.

I literally can't right now... I just read a post saying "The male suicide rate is a blessing to society". How can these people be like this edit: on reddit and get away with it...

Hey before I read this post I actually went to blatantmisogyny and you are spot on. I made a comment reply of my own reflecting this on another thread as I saw many posts that were hateful. Reddit needs to clean house and enforce stricter rules against hate speech. Many of their posters have bigoted views and as of writing this post I've read many more awful generalizations about men. It is fine to call out sexism and label it for what it is but these blanket statements about men have got to go.

I've been visiting a few subs ever since a certain one popped up on books. I've never really been vocal and I prefer to read debates and arguments. It certainly feels awful to be told as a man I am trash when I've personally done nothing to offend. As mostly an observer though, I see the tones of these posts against men and they are extremely toxic and very unhelpful to whatever the topic at hand may be. Reading another sub I felt FPH vibes but for men. I get it, it's a safe place for these peop…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
