This is honestly the dumbest shit I've seen on this sub lol

I would love to but half the girls where I'm living don't even speak English, so it's hard to convince myself to give it a try lol

Exactly this. This sub is ideal for people who don't pick things up naturally or easily, or who think things through logically and methodically rather than intuitively. Cause that can be the number 1 fucker-upper of dating lol, overthinking things but not knowing what you should actually be doing. What this sub and other sites like it provide is methodical theories that mean such people who it doesn't come naturally to can get it right. Why's that so bad lol?

Life is hard lol. If you don't put any effort in you can't expect any positive results.

What a load of old shit lol. You type like a fucking lunatic. People have social media to see what their friends are up to and post pictures to share with their friends. Not to be contacted by that guy you talked to in passing at the gym once.

Yeah, plus it's blatantly not true lol. If you're lurking on a subreddit called r/seduction, it means you're pretty interested in attracting girls hahahaha. You think girls are doing this much reading into attracting guys? I'd guess not

Brit here, and I can tell you that I used to get up to that whole scene and you'll find it's ultimately unfulfilling. Sex with girls who barely seem bothered, or who you can barely feel cause you're drunk, or who you can't remember how it was the next day... where's the fun in that? Yes, it is the main way guys and girls get together in Britain nowadays. But I think that's a real problem with our society over there tbh. Most Brits of both genders will cheat at a moment's notice when a relationsh…

Yeah this. It's a good way to talk open the door to discussing these kinds of topics. If it ever goes into 'rant' territory like the OP said though... you've deffo got a problem on your hands

Painful to hear... but true. Getting this caught up, especially before you've even had a first date, is the kind of thinking that cuts down a blossoming relationship or fling before it has even started. Trust me - I've done it many times myself. Either you'll work out another date and actually go meet up or you'll decide she's messing you about too much and call it off - but either way, you can't let yourself get too invested so early on. That's a mojo killer.

Don't like this one. Dude actually seems interested in her and your suggestion is a great way to turn her away entirely. If a friend said that to me I'd think it's rude. It's even ruder from someone you're trying to date.

He could also get punched hard in the face. Definitely seen that happen many a time. If she was in an open relationship, she'd have probably mentioned that at the same time she felt it necessary to mention having a boyfriend. Also, there's the whole thing of giving a shit about other people than yourself, but I guess people don't really do that anymore.

$100 on a Tinder profile? That's a lot of money to get boring girls to reply to your texts

Yeah, you did well to lie about that. The sex thing does sound awkward, but if it's your first time you gotta think of it like practice. Can someone who paints for the first time do it like Van Gogh? Can you write a great novel the first time you try? Nahh, you gotta practice and then you'll get better. Stuff like being smoother and more natural in a conversation will come easier as you do it more

You can connect IG on OkCupid now, too. It shows the pictures and captions from your insta, without showing your username unless you want to share it. Useful if you're worried about stalkers I guess. I prefer OkCupid cause the girls actually have bios instead of the 'Hit me with your best chat up line 😉' bullshit like on some apps. So you can get a bit of a sense of their personality on there too.

Innit. Multiple times I've had fraudulent attempts to take money out of my account and the bank has always prevented them. One time I got a call asking if I was trying to buy fur from a shop in Florida, and I live in Sheffield, England! Although having a shit bank doesn't excuse people robbing you obvs.

In my experience, getting caught staring at people is never a good first point of contact (or a good point of contact at all)

This is brilliant. Sums up a bunch of feelings I've had for a while myself and has so much great advice. This should be pinned up on this reddit

Dumping your problems on others is always risky, even if they've been through things like it before. The sad fact is: most people like when others care about their problems, but much less people can deal with other people's
