Exactly. People assume if you’re a minority of some sort you must be for equal rights or you must be able to represent “your” people group. It’s absurd, you can be well versed on a groups issues even if you don’t belong to that group yourself. Im ethnically Indian, but why the fuck should that give me any right to tell people how to act? This is what I see in the USA all the time, people being given power and a voice even though they haven’t done anything, just existed and had a certain skin col…

Homelessness IS a male issue. When 75%+ of homeless are men, it’s a male issue. Would you think it was odd that a talk show host would have a whole episode dedicated to police brutality but never brought up POC? That’s what is happening here.

This is the only argument that needs to be made. If you’re not okay with using the minority to generalise the whole, you cannot make statements about being scared by men/avoid men. And hey, if you’re okay with judging an entire population by the acts of the few that’s fine, but there is no logical reasoning for doing so.

Men are more likely to be assaulted then women, and men are more likely to have a serious injury. If we’re going off of random attacks, women have it “easy” with men having it the worst.

Wow. I do all three of those things listed in your first paragraph. All of the time. Always say I love you to the boys and always let my parents know I appreciate them. Unfortunately this is not at all common. I think starting with your friends is the easiest. We’re all men who enjoy stereotypical “manly” hobbies but we all say I love you to each other and hug all the time. Opening yourself up to accept this type of love is hard though.

Absolutely. But how is that not correct if we’re using the logic of Hassan Johnson?

That guy stated: “the false idea of the monstrous black rapist and threat of sexual violence towards women”. Since black men commit proportionally much more rape than any other ethnic group, isn’t that a true statement, and not false? I’ve seen articles from the USA stating that being tentative or wary around white males for crimes their ethnic partners do is fine. Going by that logic you can feel the same around black men, no? Not american and not even white, just curious.

Don’t they commit the most rape in the USA proportionally?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
