How do you perceive the male version of love then, in contrast to the female version?

Perfectly articulated.

Love this post, love this comment. Self-love is the best love, and always needs to come first and foremost. It's hard to be attracted to someone with no self-esteem, no values, or no standards. And that goes both ways. After learning to love myself first, it's easier to recognize some women aren't worth my attention/time because their values are all out of whack. Also, it's a hell of a lot easier to be patient when you aren't viewing yourself as incomplete without your "other half." Nah, I'm the…

I wouldn't go out of your way to ask her on a date, but just see if she'd like to hang out outside of the places you normally interact. She already asked you about your plans for the evening, so she may have been hinting there anyway.

If you're not cool with your girl hooking up with other dudes, you probably shouldn't date a stripper.

I noticed that about this post too. The argument is to avoid laziness and instant pleasure... So your life can be fun? Aren't those things fun? Does it really matter what you do if the point of life is to enjoy it? I don't know, just thinking out loud.

Good stuff man! But seriously, you don't need to tell her you're a virgin. It's not being dishonest to not tell her (unless she asks you straight up) and it might put unnecessary pressure on her. If it comes up organically I guess it's fine but I wouldn't let that become a point of stress or something you force.

Well put. "There's a time and a place for everything." Some things, like showing deep emotion, just need to be reserved for special occasions, or behind closed doors.

I guess to kind of lead the advice: should I bother asking if she's still with the other guy? Should I ask her on a date or just try and chill?

Yes. One of the first cartoon shows I've seen to perfectly balance funny adventures with some of the harsh realities and mysteries of life.

Yeah I believe that, it was just funny because this chick said all this shit and then fucked my boy who didn't give a fuck about any of that.

No dude, totally agree, the issue in my post was just that the chick saying this stuff was just saying it because it's trendy. Otherwise it would be all good.

Maybe if the other guy was the opposite race or something. We can only hope for that level of justice.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
