Maybe stop washing your face so much. All I do is shave every other day in the shower using the moisturizing side of a dove men+ soap, nothing else, and my skin is pretty great.

You don’t need a new degree, you just need to figure out how to leverage your experience into a career that allows you to live the lifestyle that you are after (and/or move).

Get a better job then. I work 9-4 most days and make six figures, a year into my career.

Not a 9-5 job then is it?

I'm in Seattle and need some decent photos. I don't mind paying you what you think is fair. I'll send you a pm.

If you take birth control in a certain way you can skip all bleeding. (The placebo week that most pills have isn't really a period, its bleeding due to withdrawal from the lack of hormones.)

Essentially, cross boundaries.

You can do that, you just need to become a quality person first. And one of the ways to do that is by weeding out the negatives.

Read the DiCarlo escalation ladder. It should be in the sidebar.

Then the wikipedia article is misleading, because it say something to the effect of According to the CDC, the body's immune system clears 90% of infections within two years.

It's a little harder, but not anything insurmountable, especially if you are in school or have a job.

Have you talked to them about that? She's someone I'd love to bring any girl home to Why haven't you? When I was living at home, most of the girls I dated met my parents, just like most girls I'm dating now have met my roommate. If your parents have actually said "You can't have sex here," I would still have a talk with them, because it seems like you do have a good relationship with them.

My parents would be happy I have dates, but they would hate me to bring home girls to get laid. I'm going to go ahead and assume that your parents know how dating works, and that they understand that getting laid is part of the equation. It's not really their business if that happens on date 1, 5, or 0.
/r/seduction27/11/12 12:25 AM

Assuming you have a decent relationship with your parents, you don't even have to do that. I never had anyone not come home with me because of the fact that I lived with my parents.

If you aren't in the same department and neither one of you is in a position of authority over the other, then it's pretty much fair game. Something like 20% of spouses met at work.

Escalate. It should be easy to bring her into a private place when its your house and people are starting to leave. Just tell her "Come check out -cool thing in my bedroom-", and you should know pretty quick whether or not its on.

Here's an exercise: Go out to a bar, start talking to girls, and TRY to get slapped by whoever you're talking to. Don't go for a boob or ass grab right away, but see how far she'll let you go before she says or does something. Then realize how good getting slapped feels.

Seriously? What the fuck is wrong with everyone saying that living with parents = no sex? This is just another limiting belief. You're 22, you are in a masters program, and you happen to live with your parents. Own that shit. As long as you have a decent relationship with your parents, they shouldn't have an issue with you bringing girls home, so really the only problem is your mentality. Also, their house is probably a decent place to bring dates to make dinner if you can work out logistics wit…

Yep. From the other end, I'm a TA and there are about a dozen hot girls between my two labs, but I wouldn't do anything with any of them until the end of the semester when I'm no longer responsible for their grades.

Not sure what your relationship with your parents is like, but most girls won't care that you live with your parents at 22, so that's not a reason not to invite them back.

First year PhD student here, I pretty much know everyone in my classes already, since its a small department, but opening people in other places has been such a refreshing experience. I'm probably the happiest I've ever been right now.

Have you ever made out with a guy without sex being on the table? When is this ever the case? Other than the awkward end-of-date kiss I guess, but I've never done that.

Don't sleep with girls on your floor. Work out a system with your roommates. Something like, "If one of us brings a girl back, and its not a ridiculous time (2 am on a Wednesday and someone has an exam tomorrow) or whatever, the other roommates leave."

Hmm I don't know. Guy: Come up to my place and I can show you my snake. Girl: WHAT, you're disgusting! Guy: I was talking about my pet reptile; you need to get your mind out of the gutter. Etc.

Others have explained why a freeze out works, but I think the really powerful part of this one in particular, is that it shows that you are completely respecting her (lack of) consent, while still remaining in control.

Cavemanning would be pretty much the opposite of what he did. That technique is usually called the freeze-out.

A movie is a good excuse to get a girl back to your place, but as you saw here it can also be a distraction. Though the pirating line was pretty boss. Anyway, I think its better to use some other reason to ask her to come back, for me its to try my homebrewed beer, and I'll usually pour a drink for each of us, sit on the couch and talk for a few minutes, and it's on pretty quickly after that. If you have another cool talent/skill/cool thing, those are great to use: "Check out my reptile collecti…

My apartment. Usually we will meet at a bar or a coffee shop, whether its a day2 or an OKC date, and at some point I'll invite them over, either to make dinner together, or to try my homebrew (I have a kegerator in my living room). These usually end up turning into sleepovers.

You are missing one of the most important parts: Logistics/isolation.
/r/seduction12/08/12 08:42 PM

You don't even need your own place. When I was living with my parents I would take girls home and cook or bake all the time. Just talk to the people you live with if you want some privacy for a few hours.

Meaningful relationship can mean a lot of different things. Would you say you have a meaningful relationship with your buddies?

What I usually do is meet at a coffee shop or bar, and have one round of drinks/coffee, and then say that we should grab some food and cook at one of our places. 60% of the time it works every time.

The apartment I'm moving into has the closets as a buffer space between the two bedrooms. Score.

Go to places where there are men. Talk to them. How do you make your female friends?
/r/seduction02/07/12 04:34 AM

Your bed is a good place. Hers too, if you're into that.
/r/seduction12/06/12 02:33 AM

What do you mean?
/r/seduction12/03/12 06:57 PM

Yep. Also, if you set up your logistics a little better, you can probably f-close with a pretty good frequency as well. There was a post linked about a week ago with the "perfect first date" plan that suggested not kissing until you had her in your apartment, and then escalate pretty quickly to sex. I'll try to find it tonight when I'm on my computer.
/r/seduction12/03/12 06:44 PM

It depends on where you met them, but yes, this is very possible.
/r/seduction08/03/12 06:39 PM

I'm not being completely literal, but one of the best parts of sex is seeing your partner unable to control how much pleasure they are experiencing, and then thinking "I did this."
/r/seduction05/03/12 01:21 PM
3

Think about it like this then. The pleasure is from you using the other person as a sex toy. The joy is seeing them use you as a sex toy, and experiencing so much pleasure from doing so. To keep the metaphor.

There was nothing special about my first time, and the girl wasn't really anything more than a friend, but I think I will still probably remember the experience, as it put a lot of my past encounters into context, and clued me in to what I should be doing to get a girl into my bed. Granted, its been less than a year, and I've had (only?) five partners since her, so who knows what will happen.
/r/seduction05/03/12 04:12 AM

Having 100 partners doesn't mean that someone is "dirty," and having 1 (or no) partners doesn't mean that they are clean. Just ask if they have anything. Sane people don't lie about that shit.

I give the majority of them the attention/love that I would give a girlfriend minus the sex. That's the problem.

I'm happier than I have ever been in my entire life. This is exactly what I was going to say. While I'm not anywhere where near you are, I have a path in my mind of how to get there, and I know I'm going to enjoy the journey.

the best way to overcome it was to just desensitize yourself to pressing that find match button and to losing. That is exactly how you get over the fear of rejection.

but it worked out extremely well.

You probably want a little bit of comfort building before inviting her to your room for sex a movie. Something like coffee is good because you get to know each other for a bit before going to the private setting.
/r/seduction09/01/12 07:37 PM

Assuming you are at a university.... where can't you meet people? Go to the student center, the gym, the library, college bars, classes, people you walk by on the quad.
/r/seduction05/01/12 12:27 AM

Board games are great. As you get more people than makes sense to be playing games, people will already have associated your place with a good time, and you can just say "come chill at my apartment on Saturday, bring some friends."
/r/seduction05/01/12 12:25 AM

There was a great post the other day, pretty much saying that escalation itself is enough of a reason to kino. Like, if you are on a date and the girl sits down across from you, say "This isn't going to work, you need to sit here instead."
/r/seduction05/12/11 06:12 AM
13

Whoosh.
/r/seduction05/12/11 12:03 AM

This is pure speculation based on a line from a video that someone on here made, but it said that people are naturally attracted to other people who look like their opposite (or same I guess) sex parent. Since people are generally going to be at similar attraction levels to their parents, you are probably more likely to find that a girl who is at about the same level as you has a dad that looks like you, making her more attracted to you.
/r/seduction29/11/11 06:53 AM

You really don't need to say anything at that point.

One of the most recommended outfits on mfa is dark jeans, oxford shirt, and boots, which works pretty much anywhere. Throw on a jacket if its cold out or roll up your sleeves if its warm. You can check out /r/frugalmalefashion for tips on buying clothes on a budget.

What about as a grad student? I'm planning on going back to school next year (I'm 22), and its something I think would be interesting, as none of my friends were in frats when I was an undergrad.
