I wasn't talking about the skanky streetwakers with missing teeth. You are aware that there other types of prostitutes besided the cliches you might see on TV, right? Some women do this to put themselves through college and look every bit the same as a normal, young, pretty college girl.

Gender roles come from biology and hundreds of thousands of years of evolution. Trying to pretend that we've somehow become more enlightened and evolved beyond and then constantly scratching your head and wondering why reality is not congruent with your beliefs is basically the REASON all of this 'pill' bullshit exists to try and make sense of it all. It's simple. The majority of men gravitate towards male gender roles. The majority of women gravitate towards female gender roles. The majority of…

I was not equating women with lots of sexual partners as 'whores' I was saying that it seems to be more acceptable for women to be against dating men for having seen prostitutes in their past but men are shamed and ridiculed for being against dating women who have had lots and lots of sexual partners in their past. And no. I don't care at all if women choose to see prostitutes.

"Yeah man I can absolutely assure you that I have never and will never find prostitutes to be a threat to me. 😂😂" So what? Are women all a hive mind who follow your point of view? "It’s also extremely telling that you think sex is so transactional even in marriages—as if women dangle it in front of men without any enjoyment of the act in itself from a female perspective." Open your eyes. Sex absolutely can be and IS transactional in plenty of marriages. Not all women do it but plenty of them do

What point are you trying to make here? "women can buy sex to you though"?

Who, women? If you are going to make that suggestion we would have to pretend that the demand and supply for male prostitutes for women is anywhere NEAR that for men. Why should a woman even need to buy a male prostitute when so many men would eagerly have sex with her for free? I don't care either way though, male or female, gay or straight as long as the prostitute is consenting and not being coerced.

Women have a very disproportionate amount of power in dating and in relationships because they basically decide when or if sex happens. Even in many marriages, it's tied to doing something transactional that benefits her with sex as the reward. Women even get a tremendous amount of power and attention from just the suggestion of sex, from wearing sexy and revealing clothing (often in inappropriate places) to flirting with no expectation of anything else happening in their minds. Easy, quick and …

..and yet they can have thirty different sexual partners by their mid twenties but you are not supposed to have an opinion on that.

Why not? You are projecting shame and negative character traits on half of the population.

"So you’re just jealous that I got to fuck a bunch of hot dudes in my twenties and then settled down with the love of my life in my thirties?" I don't think many guys would care what women choose to do as long as you simply OWNED it and stopped gaslighting people about how there are no longer any gentlemen and how too many men just want sex. Too many women want to have their cake and eat it too. Sleep around but then socially cover their asses with the lie that they wish there were more nice guy…

Men's movements exist for the exact same reason that women's movements sprung up when women's rights were suppressed. Women have won many of the things they fought for (deservedly so) and society pretty much overcorrected or over shot it's goals to the point where women dominate in society. The problem with being suddenly in the position of power though is that you have actually be accountable for how you USE that power, you have to be responsible and you have to take the good with the bad. Mean…

"Cover their ass socially in what way??" They cover their asses socially by making bad choices over and over again and instead of OWNING the consequences of their behavior, they gaslight us by pretending they wish more men were gentlemen and good guys even though they constantly reject and ignore the same guys they SAY they want to date. These women are not all damaged women either. I've seen this in my own life and family. Many of them come from good homes and are otherwise intelligent, well ro…

My point is that young men are being told all of these things the OP described by women and society about how to be a perfect partner for a women and young women are being told nothing remotely equivalent, if anything at all. The young men are also being fed a lie because young women want to cover their ass socially from their often poor choices in men.

The difference is that these hot guys are often not dating their female equivalent in a hot woman. They are interested in a hook up and in sex or a casual relationship. Many women get deluded with all of the social power they have on dating apps and in the current dating market and associate it with having an unrealistically skewed view of themselves. Women THINK they have all these options but typically the guy that is going to commit to actually settling down with them is not going to tick off…

You are missing a big piece of this. You mistakenly think everything is equal. Young men are told again and again from an early age that (I'll quote the OP here because it was said perfectly) ... "He’s the guy who’s spent his whole life being the “good man” walking the straight narrow—the one who believes in happily ever afters and open communication, who treats his girl like a queen because that’s what he’s been told women want. He’s been marinated in every lesson his mom, sisters, and society …

I have another one for you. Incels are nearly universally hated and despised by women because of the views a small and toxic minority of them have. Someone like Wade Wilson, who has literally killed women has tons of women simping for him on Tik Tok, because he is hot
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/24 04:31 PM

Right! But men can never ask women about how many previous sex partners they have had and we aren't supposed to consider it dealbreaker if it's alot.

So tell the women who expect these things that then

HA HA HA, lol. Yeah ok. we are so much more enlightened now. Funny how we hold on to the 'sexist nonsense' that benefits women though. Initiating relationships: Men are still expected to ask women out or take the lead in starting romantic relationships. Proposing marriage: The expectation is on men to initiate the proposal, taking on the pressure of the big romantic gesture. Protecting women: Men are often seen as the protectors in dangerous situations or even in everyday scenarios like walking …

Why should men need random women's approval or consent if they wish to visit an escort?

Moms often provide emotional support, help kids with early development, and keep the household running smoothly. Dads, on the other hand, tend to encourage independence, engage in more physical play that helps with problem-solving, and focus on discipline and setting boundaries. When both parents bring their strengths together, it creates a balanced environment where kids can feel loved, confident, and well-rounded. This is not set in stone and there can be cases where the roles overlap or flip …

It's not mutually exclusive. The role of mothers and fathers are different. The strengths they bring are different. It doesn't make you a shitty father if you have different strengths than the mother.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/24 05:49 PM

Many women return to the same men who abused them. Many of them date men they know will be bad news. Women are attracted to strength and confidence, first and foremost. The men who truly have real strength, confidence and are good men, are often not single and available for very long. Assholes, shitheads and criminals MIMIC real confidence but end up being abusive. Assholes, shitheads and criminals are also never wanting for women to be attracted to them. The women are not attracted to being abu…

No. This is why they used to say you "grow old with someone". You have history and happy memories together and you remember what she looked like when she was younger. I really don't think men in long, happy marriages are looking to replace their wives. However, older women in the dating market 110% face this issue. You see her as she is now. All you have to go on is visual appearances at first. An older supermodel was in the news a few years back for lamenting that she feels invisible compared t…

In that case, she should work then, my comment was more about if things were somewhat equal. I think the problems created by poverty and not having enough money would then be worse than the mom being at home.

Women derive a very disproportionate amount of social power from the "promise" of sex and being the ones who decide if it happens or not. If 'sluts' are giving it away for free or too easily, that power goes away.

It goes beyond just money though, it's simple biology. Women give birth and are generally more empathetic and intuitive. Women naturally build strong connections with their kids, especially early on with things like breastfeeding and all the hormonal stuff like the release of oxytocin, which promote attachment and caregiving behaviors that helps with bonding. But even beyond the baby stage, that nurturing instinct continues. Many women just have a natural way of handling the emotional ups and do…
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/24 12:47 PM

I wonder how many overweight or average looking men she swiped left on before she selected the guy who ultimately rejected her. This is why women don't approach! We have so-called equality but many women are more than happy to hold on to the aspects of our sexist past that still are a benefit to them.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/24 12:38 PM

It's become shorthand for "someone said something I did not like online so will try and shame them and hope they go away". It's become meaningless. People say it because they know that, for men, much of their sense of self worth comes from being seen as sexually desirable to the opposite sex. They know this is in insult that can sting, so that is why it's used. These same people would be outraged if someone sexually shamed a woman as slut though, it's really the same thing, it's shaming someone …

I just don't get why women would see 'potential' in a guy who acts like an asshole. I tend to think they are really attracted to confidence but don't realize that these guys aren't actually confident, they are putting on an act and being assholes BECAUSE they know they are not and are trying to make up for it
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/24 06:44 PM

The non-asshole guys have potential also, they often never get a chance. Older women are not as desirable because they are 'older'. It's really as simple as that. Most men of all ages are attracted more to youth and beauty. A young twentysomething who gets the attention of a minor celebrity is going to be one heck of a lot harder to date than an older divorced woman who is getting less attention as she gets older.

Am I? In the dating forums there are plenty of men who say they aren't attracted to women with lots of previous partners, this is a common theme. I seriously doubt that these are the same men who subscribe to OF. I'm guessing the men who subscribe to OF and made it successful are either in bad marriages or have trouble dating women and are sexually frustrated. I also am aware that plenty of women date losers and assholes, over and over again, sometimes returning to guy's who were shitty towards …

Many women return to bad, abusive relationships and date the same sort of men who they know are wrong for them over and over again.

For a guy to have an opinion that he hates sluts and promiscuous women, it probably means that he does not want to date women who have had a lot of sexual partners. I doubt this is the same type of guy who pays money for OF. Most of the men who pay for OF are lonely or in bad marriages. For a woman to have an opinion that she hates players, she is probably covering her ass socially and is one of those people who claims there are no gentlemen anymore yet dates the same losers and 'players' over a…

The double standards we have in this society are incredible! If a male had been caught doing half of what some of these female teachers have been caught doing, they'd put him UNDER the jail. And yet, on much of Reddit, people deny the "women are wonderful" effect. And yet, on much of Reddit, if an older man wants to date a younger woman who is 18 or over, he's considered a pedophile and a groomer.

I 100% agree on this and witnessed it in my own life where guys could be really, really into a particular band or genre and would have favorite records they played over and over. Many even got inspired to play music. Most girls would listen to whatever the current pop song was and that would last only as long as it took for then next popular song to come along. Music seems more disposable to many women and that is sad.

This is very much true in the majority of cases. Of course there are exceptions. I have noticed this in my own life and you also see it on social media, where most female influencers typically play current popular music and males will often play more eclectic or older music. When I was in school many of the guys would listen to older music and had lots of varied interests The girls basically all listened to dance and pop music... whatever was currently popular at the moment. I felt sad for them …
