Because it's ragebait🤷‍♂️ Edit- of course I'm not advocating for that, you should never joke about it, what I'm saying is these people (who I don't think even are feminists, just edgy teen girls making horrible jokes like the edgy teen boys making horrible jokes about rape) make jokes about it to stoke a reaction out of people genuinely interested in equality. It makes sense to question WHY they're making that joke, and why people tend to ignore it a lot, but acting like it's a key concept in Wo…

I HIGHLY doubt that, since you clearly have no interest in any sort of good faith debate with a feminist. But I will admit there is a major problem with feminists not taking mens issues seriously, in fact that's why this sub was created, it's just that most (not all, admittedly) are willing to hear you out on the male advocates perspective, which is all too often ignored If youre willing to try, I'd point out conscription, every feminist ive talked to irl has admitted that it's a good point, and…

Because none of what I say is against any of the rules. Also, this is an egalitarian subreddit, it says so itself. I advocate for men's issues I advocate for female's issues, both exist, and there are many myths and stereotypes for both that I aim to dispel Instead, if I were you I'd look myself in the mirror and ask if you break rule 6

I think you just need to talk to some actual feminists. I do, a lot don't understand much about men's issues, but they are open to the conversation and many feminists that I personally know are a lot more understanding and accepting of the cause since I talked to them. It's just not a conversation people are used to. Also I find it very hypocritical when you bash feminism by saying "Plus, feminists only ever talk about women and receive support, but whenever men's issues are brought up, it is ei…

What a silly thing to say, perhaps you should talk to an actual feminist

They absolutely can, any sensible feminist (the kind that often tend not to seek media attention, hence why many people on this sub fail to see them) can work with any sensible male-advocate to achieve equality, increasing women's liberation in the MANY aspects in which they're unequal, and increasing men's liberation in the (obviously underestimated by many) aspects in which they're unequal. It's not a binary system, it's certainly not "us vs them". The whole point of the left wing is groups co…

That whole sentence isnt just bafflingly wrong, but it's really making me doubt whether you're actually left wing, and not some right wing "erm actually straight white cis men are the most oppressed people in society" nutcase You can advocate for men's issues while also recognizing the issues that women face, in fact I'd say that's a requirement for anyone who wants to be taken seriously

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
