Agree with you. Women should'nt "lower" their standards, as much as change them. Remember whenever a women is assasinated, most often than not, the husband is the culprit. Most women suck at choosing partners, but society doesn't like to accept that.

As a man in his 30s with plenty male friends, this is not the case. Most men are absolutely dominated by women nowadays.

I had a college friend who was heavy on feminism and how women should support each other and sisterhood and how "women should know their worth", we later found out that she was fuckin a married man, her wife made it public when she found out. I know not all women are like that, but plenty are. I'm guessing that's what op is talking about.

I don't know what did you understand from my comment but yeah... women like sex and status and women do compete for the top men, don't disagree with you.

Attraction is not one thing, is a clump of several things: Physicial appereance, personality, confidence, sense of humor, etc... If you don't have one or several you become less attractive to people. Yes, if you don't have the looks, you're going to have to go the extra mile to be more attractive.

That's not being whipped at all. If you have boundaries for your partner and she respect those boundaries and she has boundaries for you and you respect those boundaries, that's a healthy reciprocal relationship. As a man in my 30 with a lot of male friends, I know exactly what OP is talking about and the fact that a lot of people downplay it as "being in love" specially if you're a man, is... interesting, to say the least. A lot of woman are abusive and controlling.

I always argue that "women actually getting with genuinely nice men" thing with stats of how many women have dated "douchebags" and how many women are murdered by their husbands. I don't think women are any different than men when choosing a partner. Most of them suck, personality isn't the first thing they look for a lot of people, regardles of genre.

Yeah, that's the only thing I don't agree. Women compete all the time for the most attractive and powerful men lol.

I work in a workplace where 90% of my coworkers are women, and this does rings a bell on how they act when looking for relationships. Granted 90% of my coworkers are gen z and younger, it may very well be a new cultural thing. I have a coworker that literally has a different guy picking her up at the end of the day, is really funny. Another girl still uses dating apps (which apparently gen z isn't fond of them) and she's always talking to the guys and as soon as one says something she doesn't li…

The fact that is so accepted by people in these comments is really sad. I know exactly what you mean I'm in my 30s : I have a lot of friends who's wife/girlfriend acts as some sort of mom, and it's really scary, it's behaviour that is accepted only if you're a woman. Three anecdotes from close friends: 1- My best friend from college had her girlfriend go thorught his instagram and delete all the female friends, nobody bats an eye. Same friend was uncomfortable with the way her girlfriend dress f…
