Based off how he presents himself, I'd guess a 4. What the heck.

Dunno about you and your friends, but my friends and I talk about toxic people, not toxic men, because women can be pretty awful too. Anyone can, unfortunately.

I'd say just leave it. If it's not there, it's not there.

People can be emotional. I've dealt with some pretty emotional, immature guys.

If she actually means it and just wants to be friends (realized she was using you as a rebound, decided to be "official" with someone else, something out of her control came up, etc), and that isn't okay with you, then don't agree to friendship with her if you're always going to want more than that. You did well being blunt and making it clear you weren't okay with that. If she is just "testing" you or something dumb like that, do you really want to deal with that? Assuming you "pass the test", …

Ah. Then, as a 24 year old women, my input is that if you say "swag" with any degree of seriousness, I won't take you seriously and you'll have absolutely no chance with me, as is true for most of my girl friends.

Why are you going after 14 year old girls if you're 20?

What helped me be a more positive person was literally forcing myself to think more positively. If you catch yourself saying or thinking something negative, turn it around and find something positive to focus on instead. It honestly works, especially if you make a habit of it.

As someone who has been a bartender/server (yes, I'm female) -Be a regular. We notice our regulars! -Tip well, unless it's truly not deserved. I know it probably seems obvious, but you'd be surprised. -Be more obvious than normal. I don't know about other places, but where I work, if I got caught hitting on a customer, that would be pretty bad. But if I'm just flirting back, that's entirely different. -Leave a phone number. How else am I supposed to text you and be like "yeah I thought you were …

What I'm trying to figure out is why you're even going after someone you know is in a relationship. Why would you want to deal with that drama?

I text my best friend and the guy I'm into throughout the day, but that's because due to our lives and such I don't get to see them often. With friends that I can see more often, I text them mostly to figure out when we're hanging out or if I have a really cool story to tell them that can't wait. I'm not sure how it is for you guys, but there's my 2 cents. If you don't like the person you are with someone, you probably shouldn't be with them though.
