This is exactly what happens I "just can't understand, because I am privileged." Growing up poor in the rural deep south, busting my ass and taking on student loans means nothing to her. Her parents paid for her english, gender studies majors and posh lifestyle.. she's never had to work a labor job or work in the back of a kitchen cleaning dishes for min wage just to survive.
