2	[Wikileaks] Bernie Sanders' Own Wife Begged Him Not to Endorse Hillary Clinton, and He Did It Anyway (The Cuckery is Strong in This One) Party obligation? He's an independent. He endorsed her because 1) he said he would if he lost and 2) he suceeded in moving the democratic policy platform to align with most of what he wanted. He's not happy he lost or how he lost but at least he doesn't whine about it. When Trump wins you can expect an immediate adjustment of the market wiping out trillions of wealth and possibly a long recession given his history for bankruptcy as a tool for managing debt. 2	New to this community; can anyone tell me if my mindset fits in here? I'd say I'm similar. I still respect and am polite to women just not interested in compromising on freedom or increasing portfolio risk. Also my interests overlap with only a small percentage of women. 1	RANDOM THOUGHT: Australia has a Ministry for Women. WTF?? Lived in Australia my whole life, it's not that bad and women are encouraged to work and be independent. Laws still favour them in divorce and there is risk of de facto marriage if you live together for a couple of years. Governments have lately been encouraging women to work and keep working after children (mandatory maternity and paternity leave helps this). They cite "never married" men as a large percentage of "prime age male unworkers", who spend 3000 hours a year on “socializing, relaxing and leisure”. No plantation in sight. You sold me, WSJ. I'm in. I recently got back into work after having a couple of bad experiences and being jaded about the whole thing. It's been challenging but I found something I quite enjoy and now I'm focusing on growing my wealth rather than breaking even. The structure work provides (and less risk/stress that running your own business) is often undervalued and I find my weekends have also been much more productive in terms of leisure. 1	My girlfriend wants us married, but is fine without any legal ceremony. Are there potential problems I'm missing? If it ever went to court the plantiff could bring multiple witnesses that would testify regarding the ceremony, living together, splitting living costs and so on. Your defence is a schoolyard tactic and would be ignored by the judge and quite frankly might make them annoyed to the point they give you a worse ruling. I've heard of rulings where alimony is calculated from your highest earnings (cherry picked unfairly) even if you don't earn that much any more. 2	not a mgtower but still a single guy debating on whether mgtow is for me or not? Mate I've been doing my own thing and being polite to women for over a decade before I stumbled across MGTOW. I'm in Australia and have lots of female professional friends from high school (doctors, policewomen, etc.). Many of them are grounded/logical but even in the best-case scenario (professional partner, equal income, no desire for kids) I'd rather opt-out of the couple life and do my own thing 24/7.
