Guys nowadays don't ask any girl out, so don't take it as a slight. Unfortunately you have to make it happen yourself (putting yourself in the right setting, looking good, smiling/eye contact, etc). You should try going to a Thursday dating event in Toronto. I've been to them, and I think it would be an easy place to approach men, and men might approach you.

I'm from Canada (Toronto) too and have plenty of south asian friends, so I get where you're coming from. People in Toronto are too scared to show any type of interest, so you have to do a lot of the work if you really want to attract men/women. It sucks, but you probably have to get over your social anxiety of smiling and talking to cute guys you see. It'll improve your confidence which will compound and make you even better. You're missing the fact that to get bulk, you will most likely be adding extra fat as well, so the question is whether you want to be lean and extremely toned, or bulky with a little fat (but still toned). Eventually you can get rid of that fat, but not right away, or if you have a ridiculous lean protein-filled diet
