1	Just had my first son..... I was in the delivery room for 2 of ours. For the third, when it looked like there might be complications requiring surgery or at least some use of a knife or hurtful equipment they told me to leave because they had enough to do looking after the patient without having to watch out for my fainting or being in the way. If you are in a relationship, it doesn't take a week or a couple of months to "move on" and start anew. And the pain takes a lot longer to go away, if ever.
